Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned yogi, you can be sure that each class is taught "in layers" allowing students of all levels to practice together. Rachel is the founder of Om My Yoga and Om My Yoga Academy. A multifaceted yoga teacher with over 18 years of experience, and a Certified Yoga Therapist, she offers students creative and accessible classes, workshops, and retreats that draw upon her education in Mental Health, Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness.
Most of our classes are simply listed as "Yoga" on the schedule. Our teachers lead custom designed, breath-based classes that are suitable for all levels of experience. Many of our yoga class styles could be described as therapeutic Vinyasa. Vinyasa means "Breath synchronized movement."
In class, we will use flowing sequences to warm the body, giving ourselves the ability to reach new levels of strength, power, flexibility and peace in our poses and practice.The strength of Vinyasa is in its diversity. There is no set series that teachers must follow, so there is room for the individual personality and skill of each teacher to meet the students right where they are at.

Om My Yoga Academy exceeded my expectations for both the 200 RYT and 300 RYT training program. Rachel is a wealth of knowledge and her team and studio space provided an incredible learning experience. This training was one of the best decisions I have ever made both professionally and personally.

Together, we create a conscious community to study the history and philosophy of the ancient Yoga tradition and to reflect upon how it relates to our modern world.

Chitta vritti is a Sanskrit term that roughly translates to "mind fluctuations, " or the constant mental chatter that never seems to stop during waking hours, leaving people mentally fatigued, stressed and overwhelmed.

I have tried random classes other places through the years but after my experiences here, specifically with Michelle’s classes, i knew i had to give myself the gift of a membership. I have personally come to love and enjoy yoga more since starting classes at Om My Yoga. The environment is extremely friendly and welcoming, as well as calm and relaxing. My favorite practices here are Aeriel and Barre as they are not too intensive on my ankle. So far I've enjoyed all the Aeriel teachers I've had and Aeriel is a fun way for me to try poses that are more difficult (ankle wise) in yoga, as well as conquer my fear of heights. As for barre, Rose has a soothing, rhythmic way of taking you through class that is calming and energizing. Of the mat yoga classes I've tried, I enjoyed them

Om My Yoga offers the best atmosphere, best teachers and most accommodating class schedules in south central PA. Upon entering the studio you can feel the stress start to peel away... even before the class starts! Instructors offer plenty of options and really cater to the needs of all participants in the classes. Don't be nervous if you are new to yoga...there are no attitudes and all are welcome . Highly recommend.

Full disclosure: I teach at this studio. That said, I can honestly say that there is no studio in which you will feel more welcomed and respected. Om My Yoga is the place for you to practice if:
~You are new to yoga and want to be guided by teachers who are ready to help you find ways to make the poses accessible.
~While not yoga therapy, per se, you are looking for a therapeutic yoga experience that will nourish your body, mind and soul.
~You are a seasoned practitioner, or even a yoga teacher, and you want to recharge your batteries in an non-competitive environment where you will be challenged

Om My Yoga has a very special place in my heart. I was welcomed to the studio with open arms 5 years ago by the owner, Rachel Wilson. Rachel went above and beyond to help me learn the basics of yoga (I was totally new at the time - I didn't even know what a Down Dog was!) I went on to become an Om My Yoga Academy student (which I highly recommend, whether you want to teach yoga or simply deepen your understanding and your practice). Om My Yoga offers everything: from beginner level to more advanced classes. They have plenty of space and a comfortable environment. The staff is kind and helpful, no matter what skill level you are. They also have a shop with books, crystals, mats, clothing, etc. It’s a relaxing and enjoyable place!

I LOVE it here. The space is awesome and really sets the mood for the classes. I have done both the barre & aerial yoga classes and they are so fun.
If you haven't tried aerial yoga, this is a great place to do it! The instructors are very aware of their classes and usually know who is a first timer (you can schedule through an app and I think that is how they know). But, if it is your first time they will put you in the front by them and walk you through all the different positions. It can be awkward at first, but once you get the hang of it there really is no better way to stretch your

What a great yoga studio tucked away on the Carlisle Pike! Relaxing studio, great instructors and friendly staff with an extensive yoga schedule to fit your every need - I was able to enjoy two amazing classes during my last visit. I will definitely make this my "go to" yoga studio when visiting my parents in Central PA.

I love Om My Yoga. So so much. There are now two locations, one on Front St by the Harvey Taylor in Harrisburg and the original on the Carlisle Pike. Both are great and not that far from each other, I switch back and forth based on which has the class that fits my schedule.
Their full schedules are available on the website and through the Mindbody app, which I use most often. Prices are very reasonable. I have been to other studios in this area that have just a bit of a hostile/unwelcoming feel, Om could not possibly be further from that. I have never felt anything less than very welcome, no matter

OM My Yoga has a good combination of different yoga classes at very convenient times including weekends. All the teachers are well trained and experienced. I would recommend everybody to go immerse themselves in the good vibe and the heavenly smelling studio. You will come out relaxed, stretched and worked out, all at the same time. I take Yin and Vinyasa classes regularly.
