Great wait-staff. Food was good, however my hash browns were cold and undercooked. Possibly a result of my eggs not being ready with the other order from my table.

Was so glad to have the chance to return to Rae's for breakfast today. We have gone there since it was Bakers Square and continued when the name changed. Breakfast used to be a pleasure. Sadly, today was an horrible experience! The biscuit was RAW dough. The omelet was burnt on both sides and they tried to cover it up with a ton of melted cheese. The pancakes were way under cooked. I gave a single star because the coffee was good.
I'll try it one more time. Hope they do better next time.

Severely understaffed. It’s been this way thru most of covid. The restaurant has been open inside for awhile now and everytime my wife and I come in they’re running like crazy. The waitress we usually get is very attentive and nice she is the younger girl with a ponytail, and the man who always seats us is nice too. The boss is always standing at tables talking to customers and doesn’t do much else. The few workers who are actually working look so miserable. This place has good food and the service really is very good considering what they’re working with.

This place seems like an old factory. They need some work on it maybe upgrade a few thing and a deep clanning. Regardless, I'm giving it the 3 stars mainly cause of the food. I order a burger, kids pancakes and an omelet. The burger was deliciously home made. The pancakes were really good and the omelette need some work but overall not bad. Also, the staff was really nice and friendly.

Had an excellent breakfast. Early morning, 7am, there was no wait. I had the meat omelette and country potatoes. They use a high quality cheese that I loved and with a touch of their homemade salsa, made for a great meal. We’ll be back.

Good place for a standard omelettes and other traditional American breakfast choices.
Omelettes are thick and fluffy with a generous portion of melted cheese on the top. Most dishes come with a bread and either hashbrowns or country potatoes. The potatoes could use some work as they don't have much seasoning or crisp to them, but the hashbrowns hold up against what you'd expect from a similar traditional breakfast joint.
Coffee comes in a good size mug, which helps it stand out a bit from similar restaurants, and always stays filled by the active wait staff around the restaurant.

Its a perfect little diner located at the end of Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa. They have outside seating with a lot of shade which makes for a great brunch atmosphere on a beautiful day. The biscuits and gravy was good but the pancakes are delicious. Next time I'll definitely be trying the cinnamon roll French toast!

Service is Great, only open for breakfast and lunch but the menu is extensive with options to build you own plate. Vegetarian plates, children plates as well as senior. Be prepared to wait as this is a popular place for breakfast but believe me you wont be disappointed!
