These guys started the gentrification of Golden Hill's "downslope" area almost single-handedly. Now it's a coffee hangout with decent health-oriented breakfast and lunch dishes. Try the "feta 1" eggplant sandwich and the goat salad. Influx Cafe adds a third location in the Northparker retail space at the corner of 30th and Upas Street.
The coffee house offers Cafe Moto beans and health-conscious fare in a functional, friendly environment. A must-try for those with dietary restrictions. Additional locations in Little Italy and Golden Hill.

I can order without a mask , spend money at this "business" , but not use the restroom ? And their response was because they use it too , and they don't make the rules . I'm sorry but it's absurd that we are afraid to share bathrooms again . This madness needs to end. Overall my experience is not good .

I am not sure of all the changes that occurred but post pandemic this place has been top tier on the customer service and timely manner I get my food. I STILL believe the Turkey 2 on focaccia is the best. There is no dining in but that's fine because they DO have outdoor seating. They are super friendly and kind to fur babies and always provide treats. I'd like my previous review stricken from the record. ; )

What a fantastic tea latte! I found Influx on Yelp when I was in search of a morning tea. Upon looking at their website and their reviews, I realized they had loose leaf tea. Score!
Just the right amount of steamed milk, and a very delicious tea.
I appreciate, too, that they are still taking COVID-19 seriously. The table where you pay is separated back from the counter, and the staff are still wearing masks.
When I have more time, I would definitely like to try some of their food.

Influx is your perfect neighborhood coffee shop. All the food is high quality and their breads are fresh made . Any sandwich you get be sure to get it on their focaccia. This bread is unmatched. I'd recommend the turkey, Motz, or veggie sandwiches.
Their croissants are also amazingly fresh, but I only believe they're doing them on weekends currently because of Covid.
I've never had a bad coffee or drink here either, and the prices are affordable. Can't speak highly enough about influx coffee shop!
Warmly,
Dani

We were concerned about this place with covid. But I am so happy the place continue operating and loyal customers like us continue comming.
I am a Mexican and I can tell you, for me Influx Mexican Moka is the best from all San Diego and Tijuana region. And as always, all coffee and food it is just awesome all times served by gentil, friendly and kind personnel.

It's been a few years since I have had been here. Unfortunately, there was little to no parking when I arrived (first time ever) and you cannot eat here even on their outside patio d/t COVID. Ordered a cold brew and turkey melt lightly toasted on wheat (they were out of bagels) and no cheese. Total was around $13-14 with tax. The turkey and pesto was brought out with cheese the first time. However, the gentlemen were super nice and apologized. They also gave me a free VOSS water while I waited as my ordered was fixed. Although I had asked for lightly toasted it was burnt on the edges but still

When visiting San Diego we stayed down the street from this cute little cafe for a couple nights of our trip. The first morning Influx seemed like a quick, close, and easy option with a tasty menu so we popped in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The bagels were sold out that day so we got croissant sandwiches instead. They were so tasty but left us wondering how good the bagels must be to be sold out so early in the morning! Long story short we came here every morning for breakfast. The entire menu is delicious and you won't be disappointed no matter what you order!

This was an unplanned stop; we were in the neighborhood on a Saturday morning, and finding we had about 30 minutes till our appointment, we wandered into Influx.
They were busy, and most of the tables were taken. We walked in thinking we'd just get a couple coffees, but decided at the register that we wanted to split a bagel with peanut butter, too.
The guy working the register was kind of distracted - he kept turning around to talk to the girl behind him, and chatting with a customer waiting off to the side. We had to repeat our order a few times in order for it to stick.

I never knew there was also an Influx location in Golden Hills until last week. The interior is sort of similar to the one in North Park however it is a bit older and mustier but more open. Parking here is super simple during the weekday since all the residents of this area have driven there cars away to work and there's barely any time restraints on the parking here - perfect for studying the whole day!
In addition to having coffee and tea, they also have snacks which make it an even better study spot. They have bagels and sandwiches. I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and I like
