Mark B. Kabins, MD has dedicated himself to the service of patients with spinal disorders since first coming to Las Vegas in 1992. Dr Kabins is committed to the state-of-the-art treatment of back and neck ailments so that his patients can return to a productive lifestyle and to many of the activities they enjoy.
Any issues related to degenerative discs in the spine, broken bones, or joint problems can be corrected with a spinal fusion, minimally invasive procedures, and advanced spinal surgery techniques. Our surgeons perform a variety of procedures to relieve pressure around the vertebrae, replace damaged discs, and restore proper functioning of the spinal column.
Cervical spine surgery, also known as an anterior cervical discectomy and reconstruction, is designed to relieve pressure in the nerve roots or spinal cord and to stabilize the spine. This procedure may be necessary for patients diagnosed with cervical disc disease, cervical stenosis, radiculopathy or any other problems that affect the health of the spinal column and neck.
Patients experiencing significant pain from compression fractures of the spine may benefit from kyphoplasty or vertebroplasty to stabilize the spine and in turn provide functional improvement. Most fractures of the spine heal on their own. For these patients, this procedure may not be necessary.

However, patients that have not obtained improvement with nonsurgical treatment, such as rest, pain medicine and bracing, then Kyphoplasty/Vertebroplasty offers an appealing alternative. If you have experienced a significant decrease in mobility and function following an osteoporotic fracture of the spine, you may be a good candidate for either of these procedures.

No question Dr. Mark Kabins is an amazing and hard-working surgeon. The office staff is always helpful and accommodating.
Understand this isn't a fast food restaurant.
If you can't deal with the wait, you should probably go see someone with lesser talent.
Perfection requires hard work and dedication. I'm always made to feel like I'm their only patient, knowing my part is being patient.

Everyone here is very nice, Dr. Kabins did back surgery on my husband on 1/4. He felt immediate relief in the recovery room. Dr. Kabins walked us through his issues, explained the MRI and explained all details. Today was his follow up and we are so happy with his results!
