Services
Dr. Greg Winter is a Tallahassee native, growing up farming and raising black angus cattle. His love of the farm life is what made him pursue veterinary medicine, focusing on large animals. He graduated from Lincoln High School and started his undergraduate studies at FSU. He then moved to Athens, GA where he was accepted into the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine.

I would like to thank Jennifer Moser and all the staff at Winter Animal Hospital for being so kind, courteous, and helpful during a very difficult, stressful, and painful time for me and my lab, Sam. They made the process of euthanizing a pet and family member that was loved dearly, much more bearable with their thoughtful and caring manner. Everyone was very professional and caring. Vet care here is top notch. Staff is always polite and Dr. Winters is so compassionate with his patients.
My 2 Boxers have no problem going in, they know they will be loved on.
Rubble the male, was just diagnosed with hip Dysplasia at the young age of 3 1/2 😒
Isabel my female brindle was there for moral support. She was laying on top of him to make sure nobody came in & got him without her knowing 😆
This is truly the best Animal Hospital I've ever used.

The BEST place for your pets! Dr Winter has taken such great care of my senior dogs and their specific needs, and is very responsive when they have issues. The staff is wonderful and the clinic is spotless. My dogs get great care here!

They are good with our animals. They don't tremble in fear when we get there so that says a lot since most visits to the vet are a scary experience. That means they are comfortable with the staff and don't mind going. They are reasonably priced compared to others. I will continue to take my pets there and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Dr. Winter and his team of professionals have provided veterinarian care for 5 cats and 7 dogs over the past 20 years. Regardless the situation or concern I bring to Winter Animal Hospital, I am treated with kindness and respect and so are my pets. The thing I value the most is Dr. Winter's willingness to give his time to educate me about keeping my pets well and taking away fear when my pets are injured or ill. When there is trouble, he takes his time and presents the most current information to me so together we are able to make the best informed decisions about my pet's care. Thank you Winter

This is what all veterinarian offices should strive to be. Awesome staff, amazing vet tech (Eric), and a truly caring veterinarian (Dr Winter).
Our experience with a nearby animal hospital was horrible to say the least as they apparently think any dog that barks is vicious.
The patient is a loveable German Shepherd who wasn't socialized (do to COVID-19). Eric took the time to work his magic with patience and earned our dog's trust followed by the same approach from the rest of the staff. Truly amazing what can be done by a vet staff that loves animals.

I adopted an older dog recently, Beau is 11 therefore we are about the same age. I needed a vet near where I live, so I decided to try Dr. Winter and so glad I did, everyone at Dr. Winter's office was so kind and I especially appreciate the vet tech who prayed with me and Beau. Super friendly service. Staff is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain our puppy's care and address questions concerning our pet that we have. The puppy plan package is really helpful in keeping costs down. We have boarded our pet with Winter Animal Hospital and he was well taken care of. We are happy with the service that we receive at Winter Animal Hospital. Because of covid restrictions, we cannot at this time give a review of the inside to the building. Will re-post after restrictions lift a bit more.
