Located in the Havana/Tallahassee area, we pride ourselves in our safety and reliability, as each border is checked in using a security protocol matching pets to owners.
Advances in veterinary medicine are helping pets to have a longer life span. Research shows that proper dental care is one of the factors that can add years to your pet's life. The doctors and dental team here at Cumberland Animal Clinic provide complete dental services including preventive care, professional dental cleanings (ultrasonic scaling and polishing), digital radiographs and extractions as needed.
Our goal is to make a specific diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan that is both cost-effective and in the best interest of your pet's long-term health. There are hundreds of different skin diseases currently recognized in dogs and cats. Many of these diseases look very much alike, with only subtle differences in clinical pictures and historical backgrounds.
At Cumberland Animal Clinic, our in-house digital radiology equipment enables us to safely and quickly assess the status of injuries or diseases that may be affecting your pet. Owners will be able to view their pet's images with our doctors at our x-ray viewing station as seen to your left. As an additional service, we sometimes offer to send x-rays of complex cases to a veterinary radiologist for a consult.
If you are traveling to another country or another state with your pet, you will need a health certificate. Cumberland Animal Hospital is authorized to issue both interstate and international health certificates. These certificates are only valid for a certain amount of time, and different forms are required for different destinations.

The Staff at this facility is amazing.
These are the most caring people that I have met in a long time.
I was in awe of the way they took care of my cat Bailey and the way that they talked to me and kept me aware of what needed to be done.
Every person there that I came in contact with asked if there was anything I needed or anything they could do for me.

I called this clinic after acquiring a little cat that had been a patient here. The drive to this clinic is too far and I am not a client but I was treated so professionally and so kindly that it really bums me out that they are so far away. The staff is clearly very well trained and very caring something my own veterinarian's office Lacks totally. I would not hesitate to do business with these folks because they are clearly top-notch and were helpful even knowing that I would never give them a dollar. Thank you so much team!

Absolutely incredible! Today was our first visit after switching from North Florida Animal Hospital, and let me just say WOW!!! From the front desk staff, to the vet tech, to Dr Bowman herself-- every one was so friendly and welcoming to me and my babyyy! Definitely exceeded my expectations. Dr Bowman & Michelle were both so patient with me and my dog & took their time to answer all of my crazy questions! They treated us so well that I now can't wait for his next visit in April! I cannot be happier with our switch to Cumberland ❤❤❤

I am new to the area and in need of a new vet for my fur babies. I am happy to say Cumberland Animal Clinic is it! The staff is friendly, efficient and caring. The facility is brand new and easily accessisble with plenty of parking. We had a brand new tech the day we visited and she was great to work with & knew her stuff! Mahalo nui loa for an awesome experience!

The staff is very friendly and great with my dog. The place is clean and very informative. They give you a tour, which was nice to walk around with my dog in the area I wouldn't normally be. She gets very nervous at the vet, and I think the tour maybe help her become familiar with the space when I was there. They have very nice boarding options!

I am not happy with this service.I paid almost 400 dollars for vaccinations for my dog on 3/6. Not a good hour had passed when we got her home she had already vomited 2x,entire face was enlarged to the point she didn't even look like my adorable small husky anymore. Accelerated heart racing,eyes extremely swollen to the point where she couldn't see how to get out of the car.Eyelids all purplish. The only thing these people could offer to tell me was take her to the hospital after I had already spend almost 400 with them.Its a pandemic ! I had to spend my rent money 524 dollars at the animal hospital

Cumberland animal hospital is honest, fair, knowledgeable and has wonderful techs and doctors on hand. They now care for our 4 animals as we have 3 border collies and 1 orange tabby. Coming from Orlando I was not sure if we would find a vet up here, but Cumberland is a very nice, up to date, caring and homey vet to go to! We highly recommend taking your fur babies here!

Kibbie Kat just adores the folks at Cumberland, and they take great care of her. She likes both of the doctors, and they do a fantastic job with gaining her trust, and handling her with the "mean stuff". It's all fun and games until they put you in the exam room, or take you back for your fecal check, so to speak. My cat can have quite the "tude" when she wants to, and she boards with them mostly, but I know I have made a great choice with Dr. Bowman and Dr. Simmons. Love the new facility and the cat condos.

Dont bother coming here with your pet. They are more focused with $ then your pets well being i had a sick dog 7 years old who was feeling pain and not eating i kept bring it to them and they wanted to talk about cosmetic surgery more then his well being.
I called and a lady picked up and after telling which dog is mine she gasped loudly out me in hold and came back to talk about cosmetic surgery!! While my baby is in pain. I picked him up took him to the animal hospital in tallahassee. They took care if him quick to find out why he was in pain and took care of him. RIP

I can't say enough good things about the care we receive at Cumberland Animal Clinic. Dr Simmons and Dr Bowman explain everything in terms I can understand as well as giving several treatment options when a procedure is needed. There has never been any pushiness to do more than we can afford and they are always available to answer any question, no matter how small.
