Services
Our group classes give you the option to train alongside a small group of supportive individuals. Every class is set at a maximum of 10 people and guided by one of our qualified coaches. Group classes are a great option for beginners with little-to-no experience who are looking to get stronger and learn in an encouraging and non intimidating environment.
Love this place! Ron, Kelly and Josh are supportive and knowledgeable - and they make sure that group classes are both challenging and fun. Ballatore Training not only provides great programming and coaching, but they've also created a strong community among the members. I have been training with Ron, Josh, and Kelly for over 3 years now.

Unlike most urban gyms, Ballatore has a great group of staff who know what they're talking about and can truly help people. They practice evidence-based approaches that help all members reach their own individual goals. It's also a smaller that gym in which members get to know each other and inspire others to train hard alongside them. The culture is one of respect and camaraderie among staff and members. Cannot recommend this place enough, for your health and your future get started at Ballatore Training!

I've spent a couple months working with the people at Ballatore. Started weightlifting with near-zero experience, and though I'm moving on, it's happily! An amazing atmosphere: positive, supportive, and friendly. Everyone I met there had a great attitude and an even better story to tell. Highly recommended!

This is a great gym with great trainers who attentive to your goals. The schedule is well organized so the gym is never overcrowded. The equipment is well taken care of and the gym is always clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get stronger and feel better!

High quality trainers that make group classes feel like an individual session. Ron’s studio also provides an excellent space to really learn the fundamentals of strength training. Each trainer takes the time to know you and I feel welcomed every time I walk in the gym! From the initial session on I was hooked & have noticed a significant increase in my strength.

I've never been to a gym before, so it seemed a daunting task to even step inside of one. However, as soon as I stepped into Ballatore, all the gym trainers and people who come here have been nothing but friendly.
I did personal training for 2 months and then moved onto group sessions with the monthly membership once I got my basics down. Even with the group classes (which are fairly small) the trainers (usually ron and josh) give you thorough criticism or pointers for improvement and one's never in need of more attention.

I moved to Gainesville for the summer and chose Ballatore to focus on my strength training. Man... what an awesome atmosphere for weight lifting. I had the privilege of working with two different personal trainers (Noah and Josh), both of which were amazing instructors who taught me plenty about how to gain strength in a healthy way. They knew just the right amount to push me and never once worked me beyond my capabilities. Awesome gym!! I started about 3 months ago and was a newbie to weight training. Ron is awesome and always explains what you are doing and why it needs to be done that way. The group classes are big enough to not feel self conscious but small enough to be personal and stay safe. The environment is great and fellow gym members are there to encourage you to push that last little bit. Bonus points: Ron has a great taste in music which makes the gym so much fun, especially on a Friday evenings since you can't go out dancing anymore.

I have been training in the gym since last September, attending both group classes with Ron, Kelly and Josh, and personal training with Ron. The classes have a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Ron is always updating different training exercises so that we can learn more in each program. The training is aimed mainly at weight training, at the end of each program there will be a test to measure our new maximum value. I have gained great progress since last year.
