I am a Black woman searching for a Black female primary physician. Unfortunately my success rate with keeping a Black female primary doctor has not been very good. My current doctor is just too busy to approach or have conversations with about preventative measures or care. So, I searched and found this doctor. I’ve called two days in a row and left three messages with my callback information and have not received a response. It doesn’t look well to think that should you need your doctor, there will be no response. The front desk can either make or break doctors in most instances. My search

Dr. Allen is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. Let’s not forget her staff, they are always helpful and professional from the time you walk into the office until you leave. I feel very comfortable that she is looking after my well-being and HIGHLY recommend her practice.

This doctor is severely overrated. She was very unprofessional with me. Dr. Allen made faces of disgust at me as I shared some of the health concerns I’ve been experiencing. What kind of doctor does that!!?? Also, she promoted her book for me to buy when I shared concerns about weight loss. I didn’t like that she was promoting her book for me to buy from her during my appointment. That really rubbed me the wrong way. Lastly, I needed to get my blood drawn (it was in the afternoon) and she rushed me to get dressed, saying “quickly! Quickly!” I felt like I wasn’t treated with respect. It

Dr. Allen is a great doctor but her staff makes her look bad. I received a bill from them several times for my last two visits and it appears to me that they are giving me the run-around as to why. My insurance company (Humana) claims they are out of Network while Dr. Allen's staff tells me they are in Network. So instead of fixing this problem with the insurance company and getting back to me like they said they would, instead they send another bill. So it's obvious that my situation has fallen on deaf ears and I'm wondering just exactly what will it take for them to handle this situation. Think

Dr. Allen and her staff is extremely professional. I definitely love this practice I wish I could’ve given it five stars. I made an appointment a few days ago and was unable to see Dr. Allen so I saw her nurse practitioner. Absolutely different from the rest of this practice. She wears a bottle of cologne and is not at all as compassionate as Dr. Allen. She does not listen and will not allow you to talk so now I will not be making any other appointments unless Dr. Allen is available

I have been a patient of Dr Allen for awhile now, she is an amazing Dr. She is very through and thoughtful. She really cares about her patients and works very hard to find the best treatment for you. I have several medical issues that have been controlled due to Dr Allen. I would recommend her to anyone.
