He was a full scholarship swimmer from 1990-1995, attended University of North Carolina Wilmington graduating with a BS in Chemistry with honors, a minor in math and Spanish, and University of Illinois Veterinary School graduating with a DVM in 2000. During school he worked at the ASPCA Urbana Champaign from 1995-1997 and the University of Illinois Toxicology Lab from 1995-2000.
Our veterinarians available to see appointments Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and from 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. We also welcome drop-off appointments available for those whose schedule prevents them from staying for an appointment. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.

When I had an emergency with my German Shepherd the day before Christmas Eve, they were able to not only work her in, but find time in their schedule to do sedated Xrays, run a full blood panel and make sure my pup was back to herself in time for pickup. I can't say enough about Dr. Lisek and her communication with me about every step. They were phenomenal! Thank you!

Dr. G is the best in the business! I won't go to any other vet for my 12 year old Papillon. Pappi the Papillon had to get a bunch of teeth removed and we had waited forever to get this done because we were worried with his age to put him under. Dr. G took such good care of him and it was a relief to finally get it done. Now he is our go to Vet and this will never change. Thanks Dr. G and the best staff around!

If I could give more stars I would. THE best vet I have ever been to. I unfortunately moved out of state recently, and keep saying that I cannot find a vet like here! They always took amazing care of my pittie and were always so sweet to him. You can tell they truly care about making a connection with your pet. Every tech was very thorough and would stay to answer whatever questions I had instead of pushing me out the door and on to the next. I never waited long here either, the entire team were seamless working together efficiently. Highly recommend! They make you and your pet feel valued and

Though I think our golden has received good care, there's been a problem with call backs and communication. They never follow up on diagnosis or procedure's. Just would like better communication my dog can't tell me what happened. I do know she is well cared for while in their care which makes me feel better.

I've always seen Dr. B and love her, she is attentive and such a lover of animals. She wasn't working today, so we saw Dr. G and he was just as great and so are the techs. Such great care. Thank you all for taking care of our pup! Mine is so skittish they were attentive to that considering we can't join the visits during the COVID. She was in and out.

I had to take my poor dog into Canyon Animal Hospital for a dental. He ended up needing 11 teeth pulled! Dr. Natalia Lisek kept me informed the whole time and made me feel very comfortable about my dog being under anesthesia. i figured he would be painful and would have a hard time coming home, but he recovered so well (which shows you how well she took care of him). My wife and I are so happy we found our FURever vet! He's doing amazing now thanks to Dr. Lisek and the wonderful staff at Canyon!

My puppy Mac and I LOVE Canyon Animal Hospital! Dr. Lisek and the rest of the staff are so welcoming, knowledgeable, and have made Mac's whole experience coming in for his puppy shots a breeze. Especially during this pandemic, they've been so helpful in answering all my questions and providing excellent service. So lucky to have found an awesome vet for my pup already!

These people don't care about your animals, they are just money hungry people who will say or do anything to get an extra dollar out of you.
I came in December 30 to get an ultrasound for my cat who I thought was pregnant because she had been around another male cat and had been acting different. They did a $200 ultrasound and told me that she was not pregnant. After that male and female cat stayed separated and I took the male cat back to LA with me. Months later I came home to visit the female cat and family and noticed that she was much larger and
was still showing signs of being pregnant

Our kitten, Pickles (lol he's 5) got a urethral block and was rushed to the emergency kitty hospital over night. The following morning we moved him from VCA West Coast to Canyon Animal hospital and Dr. Natalia took it from there.
Let me preface this review by saying that while pickles is my BABY he is also a MONSTER at the vet. He hisses, tries to bite everyone, throws himself at the cage door, and literally escaped overnight to wreck havoc in the cat room.

My husband and I can't emphasize enough how much we love Canyon Animal Hospital and Dr. Natalia! We don't live near the hospital, but we will continue to drive out to see her to get the BEST pet care available. Vet visits are usually stressful for us and our pets, but she make you BOTH feel SO at ease and like family. You can tell she truly loves what she does and cares wholeheartedly for the health of your pet and goes above and beyond to ensure ALL bases are covered. It really doesn't get better than this! I own a Bloodhound (actually she owns me) and this is where you go when you have a Bloodhound. I have been coming here since Dr Hamil was the owner. I liked him, but my dog didn't, so I was glad to meet Dr G and see some of the new updates and changes he made to the hospital. My dog likes Dr G.
