We welcome new patients and pride ourselves in going the extra mile for you and your pets with same day appointments.
Our hospital's extended hours make it easy for families with busy lifestyles to see an experienced veterinarian when they need to. Not only are we open throughout the week, but we have a veterinarian on call to answer questions after hours as well. Because of our flexible hours, we are usually able to make same-day appointments even for preventative and routine services such as pet vaccinations and checkups.

Dr. Rosencrantz graduated from Kansas State University in 2008. She then went on to complete an internship in small animal surgery and medicine at the ASPCA Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital in NYC. She has been working in Southern California ever since and is thrilled to be a part of the team at Laguna Beach Animal Hospital.

Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Vaccinations are important to be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats.
Please note that this is only a request - someone from our office will contact you shortly to confirm a date and time for your appointment. New Patients - please give us a call in order to book your first appointment. Also, please allow an additional 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment to create a medical record and patient file.
In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. Laguna Beach Animal Hospital is happy to accept Cash, Check, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Scratchpay and CareCredit.

I feel so comforted by Dr. Hayter and the entire staff here. They always take their time with you and I know my cat is receiving high quality care when she has to visit. They even trim her nails and give her a bath when she needs it! She always seems relaxed when she has an appointment there. Thank you guys!!

Everyone at Laguna Beach Animal Hospital is really great! They always make me feel very comfortable, and calm, when I am having medical issues with my kitties, or even just having their shots updated. They will always give me all my options and work with me to get the best care for my animals. I wont take my fur babies anywhere else.

I took my dog in for an exam - he had thrown up and had a soft stool. They recommended an X-Ray, overnight stay with IV fluids, and a "pill" for his vomiting. After I said I was taking the dog home they said not to feed him or let him drink water for 12 hours. I instead gave him half a portion of his dinner and a couple of fried eggs. He's fine now.
Felt like they were trying to upsell, would not recommend.

I'm very happy with the care you've been able to give to my Stella. I've been to other vet offices who, because of her aggression, won't even attempt to trim her nails without first sedating her. Your staff is able to deal with her without any problems, and everyone is always very knowledgeable and helpful.

I'm a loyalist to my vet; however, they do not treat rats so I called up LBAH and they did. I had a real good experience with the staff and doctor, they were realistic and honest about my rat's condition. It's been 4 days and my "Dude" is starting to show signs of recovery from his infection. Keep you updated, hopefully a photo soon. Thanks again, Brett.

I wish I had found LBAH years ago! Dr. Levin and his entire staff are so caring and compassionate. We had to put one of our furry babies down and they saw me cry.... A lot. Never once did I feel judged by them. Instead, they got choked up with me, gave me warm hugs and talked to me about my sweet dog. They will never know how much I appreciated that. We will never go anywhere else. Best of the best.
