LCNS is proudly a NAEYC accredited preschool! What does that mean? NAEYC stands for the National Association for the Education of Young Children and this professional membership promotes high quality early learning standards and helps parents find the best possible early childhood experience for their children.
For 40 years, LCNS has been providing rewarding preschool programs that encourage children to learn through hands-on discovery and play. We serve students in Lincolnshire, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Vernon Hills, Lake Forest and other surrounding communities. LCNS is proud to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Services
Since 1973, LCNS has been providing rewarding preschool programs that encourage children to learn through hands-on discovery and play. Carefully guided play helps a child to think critically, solve problems creatively and develop a positive attitude toward school. Developmentally appropriate activities shape our curricula and allow young children to feel confident about themselves and the world around them.
Katie Tantillo is responsible for all phases of the program. She works directly with the teachers on the curriculum and the daily events in the classrooms as well as with the board on the administrative operations of the preschool. Katie taught for many years at the middle school level prior to beginning her career as a preschool educator in 2015.
A wonderful introduction to the preschool environment for children ages 15 months to two years old. Caregiver and child will enjoy spending time together exploring, socializing and developing fine and gross motor skills through music, play and story time. If you are interested in learning more about this class or any other programs available at LCNS, please call our director, Katie Tantillo.
Children attend class on their own two days a week and begin developing socially, emotionally and cognitively with the help of teacher-directed activities. Language development, fine and gross motor skills and positive social interactions with peers and teachers are all goals for this early childhood program.
Registration is typically held in November and December. Current families and alumni are given priority, after which registration opens up to new families. Financial assistance with tuition is available to families demonstrating a need. If you would like additional information about the assistance program, please contact the director.
