One of my favorite campgrounds to stay while visiting Silver Lake. I've been here multiple times and never really had any issues. Last time I was here, a karaoke party was going til past midnight but my group was up anyway. After 1am, lights are out. I'm glad they enforce quiet time as I like to sleep at night. This is not a party campground. The rules are made for safety reasons, just follow them and enjoy your camping trip.

We are not regulars, and despite living in our RV we were only here for two full days. We never met the infamous Steve or had any other issues.
Our site was roomy, though the gravel was probably smaller than one would like. It was more like camping on state land in that regard. The hookups worked fine, but there was no sewer. Though one should know this if they are booking here, we weren't surprised.
The bathrooms were clean, the showers worked great, the laundry room worked fine as well. It did seem to have a ton of long termers and even those doing short term stays around us were there to meet

If you plan on cancelling your reservation don't bother, you mine as well just not show up and come to terms with the fact you're out the money that you paid regardless. After reading previous reviews on this campground (after making my reservations which I wish I did before making the reservation) I realized that the rules were not fitting for me. The strict rules of being quiet after a certain time where even whispering wouldn't be allowed and cause you to be forced to leave to the statement several people stated that people with flashlights would be walking the campground and shinning lights

This is our favorite campground in the area. We come every summer, multiple times each summer with our 5 kids and always have a lot of fun. We especially love the section right near the front when we camp with our kids as the bathrooms, playground, pool, and store are all very conveniently place in that area. We have never had a bad stay ❤️

Creepy staff likes to shine lights at your tent while you sleep. Put my fire out at midnight while I was still up and eating my dinner. Smallest campsite I've ever been on, not to mention the mud pit they called my campsite, not a bit of grass. We even got yelled at for doing 8mph on our way out. Never again... Bunch off old nancies with their depends stuck up their flappy cheeks running an overpriced yuppy zoo that runs out the rustic campers...

We were excited to stay here because it’s so close to the dunes. Not worth it.
If you leave the campsite with your vehicle and return after 12, you are not allowed back in. Unless you walk around the gate. That is just one of the many bizarre ‘rules.’
You cannot talk not even whisper after 11pm or you’ll be scolded by the creepy staff walking around with a flash light all night.
All fires have to be out by 1am, or staff will put it out for you.
Their pricing on wood is outrageous for the amount of pieces they give you.
The campsites in the rustic area are very close together. Fortunately
