Dunes Harbor Family Camp, a ministry of Grace Adventures, is a Christian family campground. We desire to help create experiences that will last for generations in a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment. As this newest branch of our ministry, Dunes Harbor is providing families and churches with the opportunity to focus on building relationships and enjoy intentional time together.
Dunes Harbor is looking for high-school and college-aged students that are dedicated, empathetic, trustworthy, and desire to impact kids and families with Jesus Christ. We pride ourselves on doing everything with God-honoring excellence. Working at Dunes Harbor will give you professional skills that you can take to any other job or classroom.
When you arrive at Dunes Harbor Family Camp you will immediately experience the difference between an ordinary campground and an exceptional family adventure in a faith-based environment. Families and campers are not just paying for a campsite. Guests will experience family-focused programs and activities in a unique Christian environment that is centered on teaching Christian family values.
Dunes Harbor has all the amenities of a modern new campground but with the activities of a family camp in a faith-based environment. We encourage you to spend time as a family, disconnecting from everyday life, and experiencing the beauty and wonder of God's creation. For those without an RV, tent, or trailer, come camping in our Rustic Cabins and rental RVs.
Coming with a group? Whether you're planning a trip with your friends, family, small group, or church Dunes Harbor has a variety of options that will make your stay exceptional. We partner with groups to provide a unique environment where families can be taught, strengthened, and encouraged in their Christian walk.

Best camping experience for this year. We came across Dunes Harbor Family Camp quite by "accident" and what a blessing it was to our family! We were able to reserve a spot and wished we could have spent a week there (at least). Cheerful faces greeted us everywhere. The abundance of staff, activities, quiet, security and fun are unparalleled. We will definitely be booking a week for this coming year. Thank you Dunes Harbor staff for making this a safe, family friendly place to camp!

We come up for the sand dunes and stay here once a year with family and friends. The Campgrounds are Beautiful and Well Maintained. The Staff is Awesome, Knowledgeable and Friendly. The store is stocked with needed items and the ice cream parlor is an added bonus. Will definitely be planning more that one trip in 2022

Had a great time. Very nice new campground. Staff was super active and was willing to help whenever asked. Lot of activity’s for the family’s dinner kids. Pool was really nice. Site was nice full hook up and very safe feeling.
Only downside was our waterfront lot you could not see the water. We did have a small path through the brush to put our kayaks in the water. Some sites seemed to have better views and access. I would recommend doing some research on site locations and try to request a site next time.
But all around definitely a 5 out 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I picked this place because it sounded calmer than what some of the other campgrounds in the area can be. I was warned that Silver Lake could get a little rowdy at times. I have 2 boys 15 and 12, so I wanted a safe place that they could play. There is not a bad site in this entire park. We had so much room, and a large cement patio. The pool is so kid friendly, with a slide, basketball hoop, walk in area with a waterfall mushroom and dump bucket, and a small lazy river. There is horseback riding, archery, large playground, laser tag on a connected island, I could go on and on. It is a Christian

We absolutely love camping at Dunes Harbor!!😁 A BIG THANKS TO THE AMAZING STAFF, they sure keep the place in ship-shape and they're constantly making improvements! Nice job! The one thing that would perfect our camping experience would be a dog park, our fur-baby would love to be off her leash and romp about with some other energetic dogs. We (should) give a 5 star because of how amazing this place is but I'm hoping that the 4 star will bring some attention to the subject. I believe adding a dog park would be a win-win and make a lot more HAPPY CAMPERS 😊

We had a fantastic time, as a family of 5, being our first real family vacation. Renting a 5th wheel was the perfect choice for our trip. The grounds were kept beautiful and clean, there was always help, the camper was well taken care of and well stocked, and the atmosphere of the place allowed me, as a mom, to really be comfortable letting my kids do whatever they wanted, as long as I knew where they were going. THANK YOU so much for this campground and what you're doing with your mission to serve the Lord, and be a light.

Nice clean facilities, friendly staff, great pool/splash pad for kids, nice cabin and close to the dunes. The only thing I had an issue with was the fact that in the rules it says no dogs allowed with rentals. I paid to board my dog for the trip. The cabin next to ours brought their dog, tied it outside and set up a kennel outside. I usually don't snitch but I went to the office to tell them, they said they called and promised to keep the dog outside and the managers ok'd. I observed while the entire family was at the pool, no dog in the kennel/outside. That night everyone's in for the night, no

There did seem like there was a lot of rules. But that was GREAT for family camping. No drunks or loud partying when the kids were sleeping.
Everything was clean, nice and new. Beautiful pool. Very close to the dunes.
We will be back.
Edit. We went back. Loved it.
Update. 2 years later.
We went back and stayed in the rustic cabins. It was a good time. Not as good as being in the motorhome, as the rustic cabins are a little farther from the playground and pool area.

If I could give this camp more stars I would. We absolutely loved camping here. We could not say enough about how much we loved it. The only negative for me was the weak WiFi. We didn't have phone reception, (t-mobile), and we had a very close family member on her deathbed. It was very hard to get a message out via email. Thankfully we got out in time. Was a non-issue.
The pool was family friendly and clean. They had horse trail rides for the kids. They even had an ice cream shop!
I am going to research to see if they have more properties.

Three years new and beautifully manicured. RV sites are VERY generous in size, lots of trees and grass. The ice cream shop became a nightly treat! The gift shop is ample for last minute items you may have forgotten, or to pick up a mug, hoodie or T-shirt. We've been all over the US RVing for 30 years and cannot recall a nicer place. The pool is more of a water amusement for kids, no swimming per se. perfectly quiet, peaceful and CLEAN.
The staff is very friendly and ready to assist in whatever way they can. Showers are clean and spacious, great water pressure.

What a beautiful campground! Our family just spent a couple of days here and we are already daydreaming about coming back next year. We rely heavily on reviews for making choices to stay places we have never been before, and now I understand why this campground comes so highly rated. We had a large site next to the water and it was so peaceful just sitting by the fire looking out at the scenery. We enjoyed fishing from the shore and even caught a few bass. Great campground with new facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and attentive to needs. New campground with everything thought through really well. Little things like lighted lot markers that make a big difference. Highly recommend for families with small kids looking to enjoy the silver lake area.
