I currently live at the timber's and I cannot wait to move out after a year, just found out our apartment has TERMITES all over the place, My bf contacted the office and they said they would come to check it out. Never came even though we have a 4 month old they did not care. I also recently lost my cat and I put up posters to be able to find her. Talked to the maintenance workers if it was okay to put them up a day later they were all gone, I put one on my door and was also taken down. Family and I were living on apartment for 1 year. Bad management! Report Issue Multiple times. 1 person in the office always has a bad attitude and her name is Angie and she does not know what is doing and talking about. Especially, the Claim Management!! my vehicle was hit by the dumpster door and paint was in my front bumper and send email and image and it been couple months and still no reply and wont even call my personal cell. If I was able to give this place ZERO STARS that would be my HONEST rate!! Horrible place to live for such high rent!! Surrounded by drug addicts and you can't forget the women beaters!! This place is horrific. I lived here for a short time over a year ago and honestly was scared to write a poor review. You will get robbed at some point. At least once. It happened to me and everyone I know that's lived here. Their cameras didn't work when I lived there, and OPD doesn't do anything so you're just outright screwed. Security guards are a joke. Showers go hot and cold constantly. Slum lording exists because of places like this. You'd be better off living in your car at the Winco parking lot.

If I could give zero I would. Yes you may pay lower rent but you’ll make up for it in utilities. The system in place for utilities is bogus. You don’t have your own meter your building shares a meter and it’s divided evenly (apparently). Amenities are bad, community laundry rooms is what you get and it costs 1.25 to wash and 1.00 to dry. No dishwashers in units and nothing other than a pool for the community. We just moved somewhere and we have our own meter and are paying SIGNIFICANTLY less than we were at the timbers. They are very unprofessional, I went to apply for these apartments , I paid application fee which was $49.12 and I also paid a deposit to hold the apartment which was $100 , in the beginning my application was approved and they day after I received a call from Christina Gibson
denying my application because my dog was 6 lbs. over the limit , and she said that the $100 deposit would be credited back to my account in the following 7 business days . 3 months after I checked my account to make I was credited back because

STAY AWAY. Not a safe area if you're living by yourself. My neighbor threatened me one night as I was walking into my apartment and said, "your time is running out". Homicides occur at this complex biyearly to yearly. Furthermore, management refuses to return your full security deposit despite acknowledging that they broke the renters contract. Save your money and move somewhere safer.

Please think twice before moving here. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews. I moved here because it was pet friendly and the rent was decent. There are dog breeds that are specifically not allowed per the lease, yet I live across from a very loud Bassett Hound & have seen other "illegal" breeds. Dogs are constantly barking at all hours of the day & night yet management does nothing. The apartments are so poorly constructed, you can hear everything. I can hear the tenant below me snoring! Carpet stains from previous tenants have magically appeared, I'm assuming from pet accidents

Before moving in I read the yelp reviews and talked to a few people who lived here and got some bad reviews and stories but I stupidly thought that since it's such a huge complex that a few bad reviews doesn't mean that my experience would end up that way... I should've listened. I don't know who hires the people in management, but they are completely unprofessional , incompetent , and have no clue how to do their job. I gave them almost 3 grand to move in and got credited some money on my account towards my rent (which I thought was odd) so I went to the office

Management is terrible. They failed to disclose a rodent problem when we moved, and then failed to do anything about it when we discovered it. Our car was broken into as soon as we left something of value in it (the stereo face), nothing got fixed, the laundry was always broken or mildewy smelling, mailboxes were a mess. They'll only show the best of what they have when they do the tour, so try to redirect. They're big property, and they really don't care about you. Just the biggest check they can get out of you. As soon as your lease is up, they will raise the rent. Every year.

If I could give zero starts I would. Honestly, this is the worst place you could possibly live. Between the rude staff, unprofessional and unfriendly, the apartments a dump. Moving out was the best thing I could have done, and I just wanted to share my experiences here so that someone else doesn't suffer the same. They were dirty, the grounds were covered in dog poo, the entire place smells like pot, and I was scared for my safety more times than I can count. The water charges are insane, but considering that some "one bedrooms" are like 6 people deep, then I can understand why.

So bad I didn't even do the walk through. The rent is priced daily. So if the rent today is 2150, like she told me it was today, tomorrow it could be 1950. There are much nicer places like cypress point & capes of Ventura and their rents is 1850-2000 with washer and dryers. The girl that I talk to was moody and didn't seem like she wanted to be there.

If you are thinking of moving into the Timbers, please don't. My family and I have lived here for a little over a year and the problems keep getting worse. All the things you hear about this place are true: constant car break-ins and vandalism, ghetto neighbors and sketchy people, dirty pools from people having parties and not cleaning up after themselves, water being turned off at 8 pm without notification, and I won't even get started on the horrible parking situation.

The crappy parking and the hoodlums that live here are not worth the lower cost in rent. I'd move somewhere else. My husband and I have caught someone doing really bad graffiti on the walls, a group of 20 kids banged and kicked on our door in the middle of the night while screaming at the top of their lungs, and someone stole the car registration sticker on my license plate here. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. Shout out to the maintenance people though, they're cool.

If I could give no stars I would. There is no parking other than your one assigned spot. Homeless people walking throughout the complex. parking, if found, is faraway in an unsafe neighborhood. Upon occupancy, you are issued a second parking pass, thinking that will provide reasonable parking. When I brought up to management they said that they don't monitor passes? WHY NOT? Los Arbolitos next door gave me a towing warning if my car wasn't moved within the hour. Cmon Rick Barone...get off your butt and do something to improve the quality of life or your residents.

I will start off with the positive. I moved in because of the low deposit and also they are pet friendly! The location is amazing freeways are super close and a lot of local businesses. I thought the rent was cheaper than a lot of places in the same area also a plus because I have a dog you have a private backyard. They have gas Bbq's and I believe 3pools and 2 Jacuzzi's!!

I would rate this apartment a zero if I could. You must avoid it at all costs! The biggest turn-offs are (1) Ant infestation, (2) Loud stomping and noises, and (3) Internet randomly disconnecting every 15-30 minutes. I cannot download or upload anything lasting longer than 15 minutes.

I was really excited to rent here because the apartment was large and there was a private yard which is so rare to find. We were debating between this and the nicer new development up the street and in the end chose this place to save money and because of the yard. The office staff was also super nice and so helpful - Chloe to be particular- she really just was amazing. The inside is great, clean, and roomy.
