Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry specializing in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of jaw, face and bite irregularities (malocclusions*). Orthodontic treatment is provided by an oral health care provider known as an Orthodontist, who has typically completed two to three years of additional training beyond dental school.

Recent years have brought about many changes within the dental industry, specifically with regards to orthodontic treatment and care. Now more than ever patients are experiencing fewer incidences of cavities and. It's great news that the incidence of tooth decay has significantly diminished over the years due to the use of fluorides and an increase in patient awareness.

Best dentist, and best medical professional, I have ever visited. Every single person I have interacted with in this office has been polite, compassionate, thorough, and extremely helpful with all of my needs. I give Dr. Leong's practice my highest possible recommendation.

Always a lovely experience. The cleaning never hurts, they play music instead of trying to chat the whole time, and never shame me about my flossing, only encourage me to do a bit better for next time. Appointments start on time, the office is very clean (especially during Covid), and it's easy to schedule/reschedule a cleaning. Also, they never try to up-sell me anything, just focused on maintaining my smile.

We love Dr. Leong and her staff! We are extremely picky about our dentist and Dr. Leong is the fantastic. Skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. I've had dental issues since I was 3 yrs old, so I've seen it all. She's the real deal. And their COVID protocols are top notch.

This dentist might have the nicest, most competent receptionist in the industry, definitey has the gentlest (and best) hygenist, and is really good about not doing work you do not need. I trust Dr. Leong a lot, and have for more than 10 years.

Love this place! Dr Leong and her assistant Linda make an awesome team. Very detailed work and they are both welcoming and super friendly. Dr Leong doesn't even yell at me for my bad flossing habits. Highly recommended!

Oh and the office is close to the Powell Street BART station for us East Bay folks who make the trek into the city.

Dentist Leong is fantastic, and her staff are all absolutely wonderful. I'm one of those people who really, really, really hates the idea of the dentist and I always feel so taken care of here. Highly recommend!

Really glad to have fortunate circumstances lead me to such a skilled and caring dentist. who I am very happy to recommend! I picked Dr Leong's office because I was working in the same building and she accepted my dental insurance, and I have been consistently happy with how Dr. Leong and her staff have cared for my teeth.
AND, I've had A Lot of Work for Dr. Leong to do with my teeth! Shortly after my first cleanings, I had cavities to fill, then a molar cracked and I had to get a crown, which Dr. Leong did really well (better than my last dentist for sure!)...

Dr. Leong has been my dentist for a couple years. Yesterday, a Saturday, an old crown popped off my tooth. I called her Saturday night and she agreed to open up the office and see me the next day. She came into the city on a Sunday to fix up my tooth and it feels great now! I am eternally grateful -- really great and friendly dentist who cares about her patients.

I had to go there twice this last week and am confident I was given the best possible service from this dentistry. I had an issue with my bracket wired fused to the back of my lower front teeth that had gotten bent and disconnected from 2 teeth. I was persistent in asking Wanda's thoughts and possible options. She understood quickly that I didn't want to make a snap decision and go with a quick fix. She took the time to really explain various options and allowed me to ask about each. I decided to go with a decision to replace the entire bracket which was more costly. They immediately

Dr. Leong is hands down the best dentist I've ever had. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She educated me about the right way to take care of my teeth without being pushy or judgmental. She explained everything she was doing very thoroughly so that I understood my own health better. She never made me feel rushed and she was never pushy trying to sell me dental work I didn't need, which has happened to me many times with other dentists. She and her staff were top notch.

My appointment was exactly on time and Anna at the front desk had already gotten my insurance information

I highly recommend the work of Dr. Wanda Leong and her team, especially Anna, who is unbelievably welcoming and makes "going to the dentist" a lot less frightening.

Since moving to the Bay Area, I've been going to Dr. Leong for cleanings every six months and have been very impressed with her thoroughness. Making appointments with her are very easy (the staff is super flexible), and their office is just a couple blocks away from where I work.

In addition to being convenient, Dr. Leong is incredibly professional, friendly and detail oriented. Most recently, I've spent a lot

Dr. Leong is really kind and very knowledgeable. I've recommended several people from my office to go and see her based on how you are treated during your office visits. Her dental hygienist is very gentle and explains everything she does before she does it, so if you are nervous about dentistry (as I am) you are safe and in good hands.
My only feedback is that they take flossing very seriously! I've never felt so conscientious about skipping a day! That said, what dentist doesn't encourage you to floss more? :)

Recently moved to Bay Area & needed to find a dentist.

Professional, friendly and competent. Dr. Leong & team take good care of my teeth and don't use scare tactics to try to upsell me on expensive cosmetic procedures that I don't really need. I trust them. What more could you ask for in a dental office?

Oh yeah, they're fun (recently had an open house, complete with wine & homemade appetizers!) and price fairly.

Modern amenities in a cool, retro office that's conveniently located in financial district.

I recently had a dental emergency arise during a routine checkup and cleaning - a crown was loose and was starting to create some issues with the underlying tooth. Both the technician, Helen, and Dr. Leong, immediately addressed it - carefully, with great sensitivity and effectively. The tooth was cleaned up and the crown put back on temporarily, but not before taking an extra hour of their time (thank heavens my appt was at the end of the day) and having to get another very capable technician - Linda - involved. This morning, the tooth and crown feel great, and I feel like everything's

I have to say I love my dentist of about 1.5 years (so not exactly "new", but you don't see them that often - if it was a boyfriend it would be VERY new). I've had 3 check-ups/cleanings now and 1 appointment for fillings.

The receptionist always knows me, they have a bunch of new (and not grimy) magazines. The offices are super Fidi convenient. The cleaning is always gentle and painless. Dr. Leong always checks you for cavities herself after the cleaning. It doesn't hurt that they always say I have nice teeth. That's all well and good but instead of the "good

I'm not going to disclose how long I put off seeing the dentist for fear of appalling you, but let's just say I needed a lot of dental work done. Dr. Leong is a god-send for people with dental anxiety (scaredy-cats) like me.

I'm actually looking forward to my bi-annual check-ups at the dentist now. Dr. Leong and her staff are wonderful to work with. I had my teeth cleaned about a month ago, and unfortunately they found that I needed a root canal and some fillings done. Everything was entirely painless! Dr. Leong is extremely gentle and always backs off if you show any sign of pain

I also went to Dr. Leong after she took over Dr. Saenz' practice. Dr. Leong carries on Dr. Saenz' belief in no pain. She and her group spend as much time as you want or need and will answer any and all questons patiently and fully. I also liked the low dose x-ray. I do not have any anxiety over going to the dentist.

Dr. Leong also became my dentist when Anna Saenz retired. I am very impressed by the care and attention Dr. Leong and her staff provide to even a routine teeth cleaning. They are up to date on the latest techniques and really take an interest in monitoring progress from checkup to checkup. The office is always friendly and of course the downtown location is great. I am delighted Dr. Leong.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, nice office in heart of financial district. Dentist spends a lot of time with you during even routine cleanings. And, oh, yeah, it didn't hurt.

The office is quite flexible or even cheerful about changing appointments. Helen is a secret weapon - possibly the best hygienist ever? - because she is so careful and a wizard at avoiding pain. Dr. Leong is just as good!

I've been going here for many years, and like Dr. Saenz before her, this office never pushes you into work you don't need.
