USAE performs environmental remediation under NAICS 562910. We provide services to locate, identify, remove, and dispose of MEC and UXO using the latest technologies available to achieve the highest levels of safety, cost effectiveness, and quality.

USAE's Core Capabilities are applied at former military sites as part of the characterization and remediation process, within active military ranges that require operational clearances and maintenance, or at private locations where MEC has lain dormant until construction activity.Over the past 20+ years of successful project execution, USAE has performed more than 6.55 million field/MEC-related manhours of work on more than 1,017 projects.

USAE maintains a comprehensive and effective Corporate Health and Safety Program which is developed, managed and executed by USAE's Corporate Quality Control Manager, Safety Officers and certified safety professionals. As a result of the successful implementation of these standardized policies and procedures, USAE maintains an average National Council on Compensation Insurance Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.88 for the past 10 years.

USA performs Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) services to identify potential risks and develop appropriate response alternatives to reduce human risks associated with MEC and munitions constituents (MC). By working within an accepted, consistent framework, we streamline project activities, make more consistent decisions, and develop necessary documentation to support those decisions.

Since 1998, USA has supported the Department of Defense's (DoD) mission to prepare the military services to fight and win wars by maintaining active ranges. Operational ranges are located both within the continental United States and at a variety of international sites.

These ranges can be readily accessible or remotely based, and require a variety of approaches in order to perform cost effective and safe removal of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC).Our experience includes successful completion of more than 48 large-scale projects, valued at over $151M, including both surface and subsurface clearance, target removal and replacement.

Construction at active DoD installations or on commercial/private property, may be on or near Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS). To ensure the safety of personnel on construction projects where the environment may be contaminated with Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), USA provides trained UXO technicians to work alongside the construction contractor to mitigate the risk to personnel working in areas that may be contaminated by UXO.
