Stay far away from this company. Mark has a terrible attitude and states it is not his job to leave the home as he found it. The buyer spent several hundred dollars for the inspection. Mark Northrup failed to properly identify problems. Mark mis identified several probems. Mark Damaged the wall by yanking a picture off the wall to access the electrical panel leaving holes in the newly painted wall. Mark also failed to attach the exterior crawl space to the home and when asked to go and fix, refused to do this. This hole is in the outside of the home leaving areas for mice, rats and other rodent

I was extremely pleased with my home inspection. It was scheduled quickly, started not only on time, but a bit early and was extremely thorough! I have a construction background (many moons ago) and for a moment thought I would do my own inspection. I am very glad I didn't! We paid hundreds of dollars to have our home inspected and then re-inspected after the recommended repairs had been done. We trusted that Mark was an expert and knew what we was looking for. Only three days after getting the keys to our new home, we discovered a massive leak under our house that had allegedly been repaired and which Mark had reported to us was fixed. Both the contractor who discovered the leak and the plumber who ultimately repaired it assured us that the repair had essentially been done by smearing glue over a pipe that was incorrect for the job and that anyone with basic knowledge

He does a great job. He inspected my dad's house and gave him a booklet with a pictures of everything that needed repaired. When he inspected my apartment complex he marked all of the siding that needed to be replaced. It made it so easy for us to go in and replace it.
