Mike Leupitz began his career as a home inspector in 1984. He is an Oregon Certified Home Inspector and helped write the standards of practice for the industry. Mike is a leading expert in pest identification and also owns a pest control company. We follow the State of Oregon Standards of Practice and Behavior (copy attached) Generally, this is a visual inspection using test equipment such as carbon monoxide, gas and electrical testers. We inspect and report on condition of the walkways, driveways, porch, patio, steps, decks, deck covers, grading issues, overhanging trees, retaining walls, hose bibs.
Yes there will be a written report sent by email to you and to your realtor (if you request it to be). Our reports are very comprehensive and will include a narrative and pictures of the various aspects of the inspection. Contact us if you would like to view a sample report. Yes, we do testing for radon gas in your home.

Bruce just completed my new home inspection. He had to make more than one trip to the site because of a delay regarding completion. He did so without a problem. Bruce was professional, on time, and extremely thorough.

Bruce came out to inspect the house we're considering buying. He was kind, accommodating and great at answering all of our questions (which were a lot as first time homebuyers). I will admit to being a little overwhelmed by the list of things, but I'm glad we know about them ahead of time. Bruce was super thorough and got into more spaces than I expected based on the Oregon rules that were sent ahead of time. He checked out the house thoroughly.

I had the pleasure of working with Erik on a couple of home inspections as a buyer. He readily answered my questions as I trailed behind him through the house, which was helpful as this was my first time buying a home. The inspection reports came promptly (less than one business day) and were thorough with comments, photos, and recommendations. Erik was also easy to reach by phone with a few follow-up questions. It was simple to set up payment by phone and I wasn't charged until after the inspection took place. It would be my pleasure to work with Erik and Leupitz again in the future.
