Services
Our mission is to ignite confidence and vitality in our community through the principal teachings of Pilates: concentration, control, center, position, breath and fluidity. We believe Pilates is for everyone. Pilates-the practice of specific controlled movement and breath, with a focus on core and spinal support; builds strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone.
LSQP co-founders Kristi Wood and Chelsea Hanson met in Pilates class in 2016, both commuting in from our neighborhood of Logan Square. In a serendipitous meeting on the Blue Line train platform one November evening, we learned that our studio had decided to abruptly close and decided it was time for our own community to benefit from having a space to practice Pilates.
If you are new to Pilates equipment or would like a refresher of the fundamentals, this is a great place to start. We will walk you through the equipment vocabulary, fundamentals and technique and discuss the importance of precision, control and breath while making sure you get a great workout. It is important that you learn the proper function and form before advancing your practice.
Launch packs must be completed within one month from the date of your first session, so you can buy now and start whenever you're ready. New Pilates students at LSQP are required to get started with a launch pack. When you join Logan Square Pilates, you can feel great that you're caring for yourself and for your community!
We've launched the LSQP Equity in Wellness Fund to make Pilates and wellness accessible to all members of our community. Our inaugural LSQP Community Advisory Council will advise the LSQP leadership team on fund allocation. Make it more affordable for marginalized community members to take Pilates, Barre, and Yoga classes at LSQP.

A kind, inclusive, body-positive community with great classes, really helpful and thorough teachers, and a great scholarship program for marginalized people. I'm happy to be a part of the community. I feel stronger and more flexible already.

I am not a native English speaker. English level is ok for daily communication but not sure about workout language in pilates. So i was a little bit nerves of my first class but my instructor Kara is very nice and patience. I expressed my concerns to her,she took time to listen to me and try to
make me confortable. Now,i am very exciting for my next appointment with Kara.

I have been to this studio a total of 6 times, 3 of those times for a Private Pilates Session with the fabulous, Angela L. I leave feeling more refreshed, and always receiving the best feedback and guidance by the professional instructors. I have some limitations due to a car accident and spine/back surgeries, to which they are ALL knowledgeable on. So I never had to worry about a new instructor. I hope to commit to coming weekly, and I'm excited to start this new journey!

I've been to a fair share of Pilates studios across the US, and this is definitely one of the greats! The classes have been consistently good and challenging. The studio space is split between equipment and mat space, but they do a great job of making sure the class noise doesn't bleed between. Also, pretty great pricing for the city and class size!

Really wanted to like this place since it's walkable, but they allow far too many people to sign up for yoga classes for the space they have. I went to one class, and someone's foot repeatedly touched me. NOPE. I was afraid to move freely due to space constraints. It was not an enjoyable experience. It's way too small :(

I regularly attend the studio's Wednesday night candlight yoga class and it's quickly become one of my favorite weekly rituals. The atmosphere is both intimate and welcoming, the instructor is wonderful and leads with an inclusive and super-friendly vibe, the music is pleasant and unobtrusive, front-desk service is always friendly and familiar, the space and props/mats are super clean. It's just an all around positive experience and I couldn't recommend LSQP more. I also love that they support other small local businesses.

After being a monthly member for close to 6 months I can say this studio is still as amazing as the day I signed up! I can only speak for Pilates reformer classes, but they are consistently amazing! My main instructor Angela is wonderful! All movements are still explained, no matter how many classes you have taken. I always feel like I learned something about my body when I leave. I can't speak highly enough about this studio and look forward to every class I take!

A very well run studio with nice equipment and qualified instructors. The launch packs are a great value and way to ensure new clients are familiarized with the studio and equipment. So if you are new to Pilates and have never used the machines - the launch class is really welcoming and geared to beginners - so it's a great way to get started.

I just had my one year pilatesversary and I can't say enough great things about Logan Square Pilates. The studio is full of empowering people, from the owners, to the instructors, to the fabulous desk staff. I am always made to feel welcome. The classes have all been an integral part of my renewed focus on fitness and well-being and I look forward to many years of work-outs here. Sign up for a class or two, you won't regret it.

I moved to Chicago almost 4 years ago and have been looking for a Pilates studio that is affordable and well coming. This place is so Inviting and wonderful! The staff there are all so nice and accommodating. The facility is always clean and well put together. The instructors are so amazing at what they do. They explain things so well while giving you amazing workout and teaching mindfulness of your body. They always let you know when you need to make a correction to your form in such an informative and non judgmental way. In my experiences they are all very attentive and focused during class.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The launch class was so informative and it was great to learn how to use the equipment with others who were just beginning so you felt comfortable and could go forward feeling like you knew what you are doing. Aileen was a great instructor and made the class fun and interesting.

I absolutely LOVE this studio. I have been going since it opened (14 months now??) and the teachers are constantly challenging me. Power flow yoga, detox yoga and stretch and strengthen pilates are hands down my favorite classes. Classes are small and sometimes hard to get into, so if you are a fan of "dropping in" be prepared.
If you are looking to feel muscles you never knew existed take a pilates class with Aileen!

I have been attending pilates equipment and mat, as well as the occasional Barre class, since March 2018 and can not possibly speak more highly of this studio. As a person who has always found it difficult to connect with yoga, yet who needs more structure than just visiting a gym, I am happy to report that I have found the right kind of atmosphere for me. I started as a pure beginner tempted by the great new client package offers, and within a few weeks i was hooked, finding that my posture dramatically improved, the longtime aches and pains associated with frequent car and air travel dissipated

I love the studio and recently was introduced to the beginners Pilates equipment class. I loved Aileen (the instructor) and her walk through of Pilates from its history to how the equipment works. I loved the workout, because it challenged my mind and body equally. I also love the location and how easy it is to get there and the variety of businesses I can visit after or before class.

I feel excited to take another Pilates equipment class!

I admit I was VERY nervous for my first private session ever - but Aileen made me feel so comfortable and welcome. She is a wonderful teacher, knowledgeable and passionate (and also a lot of fun). I left feeling amazing - not as an exhausted, sweaty mess but glowing and confident. The studio is beautiful and immaculate, and the rates here are quite reasonable, especially for mat and group classes. The vibe is extremely inclusive and body-positive - and all levels and body types are welcome and encouraged. I will absolutely return. Thank you, Aileen and LSQP!

Logan Square Pilates has been a wonderful, accepting place for me to get strong and help with a back issue. My spine is fused as a result of severe scoliosis and Aileen is extremely knowledgeable about body mechanics and knows how to adjust in order to make the class work for me. I never feel like there is a class I "can't" do as I know they'll help me. I love this place!

Absolutely adore this place! Was completely new to Pilates and every instructor has been super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere feels very non-judgmental, and the studio is bright, spacious and clean. The classes are challenging and supportive (small size so you receive individual guidance/adjustments to form) and I always leave feeling great.

I dropped in because I had a free code for a class and have been curious about this place ever since I heard it was opening! Such a gorgeous space! Definitely on the small side, but that just means smaller class size with more individual instruction from the teacher. The studio is bright, clean, and very inviting.

I tried the Barre Sculpt class (barre is my go-to workout), and it was challenging! Interesting to do barre from a Pilates instructor, real focus on working the core. Definitely glad I came.

There's Pilates equipment in the back, which I admittingly know nothing about but I saw

I understand that LSQP is a new studio, but they definitely still have some kinks to work out. I tried the new client offer of 30% off a 4-class package (group classes).

I really wanted to love this place since it's so close to my apartment, but overall, I was disappointed. To me, especially in a small studio, the little things matter. The music choice always seemed to be an issue/distraction before or during class. The instructor didn't know what music to choose so they spent some time looking, or they were unaware of how their Bluetooth speaker worked so it was always some sort of

As a longtime sufferer of back pain, Pilates has provided the most relief for me. I was overjoyed to have this beautiful studio open in my neighborhood. Classes with Aileen are always a blast, since she brings such a positive and fun attitude to each and every session. She is very knowledgeable, patient and able to adjust exercises to each individual. As a bonus, the prices here are some of the best I've seen in the city. They also offer barre and yoga classes that are even more affordable. Do not hesitate to try a class here! You'll find a challenging, full-body workout in a relaxed

What a great addition to the neighborhood!! tried out this studio the other day for a Pilates class and absolutely loved my experience there! Logan Square/Avondale area is a bit of a desert when it comes to barre/yoga/Pilates studios, so when Logan Square Pilates opened up I was thrilled. The space is bare (think Swedish minimalist, but this is a specialized studio not a gym!) but well equipped. There are two sections - a back area that has four reformers and some other Pilates equipment and a front area that is for mat and barre classes. The front area can probably hold about 10-12 mats, which I prefer over a studio with 40 people falling over each other.

I've taken two classes so far, barre and mat Pilates, and loved the teachers
