We are thrilled you have chosen Carolina Dance Productions for your child's dance education. We strive to provide a solid technical foundation in a nurturing environment for a variety of dance styles for all ages and levels. We are very excited about the expansion of CDP's staff and programs. As you watch your child's growth this year, we hope you will also see the overall positive impact dance brings to their life.
Our classes are structured first by age, then by ability of the dancer. Children of similar ages have similar physical and emotional capabilities. By placing children in like age groups we are given the opportunity to evaluate each child. Should we feel that a child needs to be replaced in order to better challenge their technical ability or to accommodate their personality, we do so relatively quickly.
Carolina Dance Productions offers Three Levels of competitive dance opportunities for dancers ages 5 and up and all levels. Level one Company is for the younger dancers (average age of 5-6) who would like to be a part of the Competitive Dance Company. These competitive dancers only compete at the regional level.

My 3 year old son was enrolled in two dance classes and had been in both classes since September. This past week, a couple of hours after dance class, I received and email from someone at CDP (do not know who because no name was included in the email) saying my son had been kicked out of both classes and unenrolled. The reason they gave was because he runs around in dance. Here are my problems with this:
1. I was never informed of ANY issues he was having in dance class. Every time I picked him up, none of the teachers came forward to say he was having problems. When I asked how dance was, frequently

Everything at CDP is amazing.. The owner, the staff, the kids, the building, the classrooms, etc.. The studio has always been very neat and organized. I’ve never been disappointed in CDP. The staff pours so much love and passion into each and every one of the kids as they are also the best role models!!! If you are looking for somewhere that is overall a 10/10 i would 100% recommend CDP is the place to be!!

My daughters (11 & 8) and I absolutely love this dance school! We just completed our first year, and I am amazed at how much my girls have learned! Not only are they learning technique and the value of hard work, but their confidence has grown tremendously. Each teacher is fabulous! They know their art so well and teach with dedication and a heart for the students. We look forward to many more years at CDP!

I feel compelled to write a review because I have been the problem mom from the word go here: came to the wrong class, bought the wrong sized shoe and didn't realize it until AFTER they were worn to an entire class, etc. The woman at the desk is always sooooo nice and accommodating despite my being the most clueless dance mom ever. My daughter… loves her dance class and her teacher is kind, fun, and good at her job. They are very good at explaining the process and letting you know in advanced what will be required and when. The waiting area is comfy and I can watch my daughter dance on closed
