Services
In order to assure that you have a safe and secure visit, the Town of Ocean Isle Beach wishes to inform you of several important Town ordinances. Violation of Town Ordinances imposes a $25.00 fine. All dogs must be leashed or fenced at all times. NO DOGS allowed on beach strand from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
You must have a North Carolina fishing license to fish anywhere else in Ocean Isle Beach and surrounding areas. Island Tackle (910-579-6116) sells licenses and can get you prepared for your fishing adventure. Hurricane Fleet is the fishing company of choice for Sunset Properties and guests. The staff is very dependable and know the surrounding coastal waters really well - after all, they've been doing this for over 25 years.
Enjoy free concerts at both islands this summer! Ocean Isle Beach Summer Market is held every Tuesday 9am-1pm at 11 East Second Street. The OIB close-out summer special event market is scheduled on Saturday, Sept 4th from 10am to 3pm. The OIB Holiday Market is a 1 day only event! Pictures with Santa will be made available by Pawsability for families, children and your family pets.
Ocean Isle Beach is located in Southeastern North Carolina. The island is about 5 miles off of U.S. 17 at Highway 905. Take Ocean Isle Beach Drive from US 17 about 4 miles to the traffic light to the entrance of the town. Our office will be another quarter mile on the right (on the mainland just before the bridge).

We have stayed exclusively at their ocean front properties multiples times in the last few years. Lovely homes! Always well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen. We haven’t needed much help during our stays, but whenever an issue arose Sunset was prompt in addressing it. We will keep going back again and again

PLEASE READ. Beware of this company at all costs. Truthfully the biggest sense of disappointment and unprofessionalism that I have encountered with a company. The positives. Our oceanfront home was beautiful and the memories made there will be everlasting. The negatives. Sunset Properties went the extra mile for my family during our stay with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I left my wallet in our rental house and the SP staff quickly reacted during a very busy check-in/check-out day to solve the problem for us. The home we rented was excellent and very convenient for a large family gathering. We'll be back next year!

What a great company. We rented a beach house for two weeks thru them this past summer. A great property, but the service from Sunset Properties was unbelievable.
We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house during the Fourth of July parade and a rep immediately came to unlock the house, and had to get thru a ton of traffic due to the parade.
Then we accidentally left an iPad in one of the nightstand. Upon discovering it did not make it home, we called the company who alerted the cleaning staff. They found it and immediately mailed it to us.

I would not rent with this company again. Our room at The Place at the Beach condos was nasty. Dirty bedding, dirty bath mats, dead bugs all over the floor, in every room. Floors made your feet black if you walked barefoot on them. It was disgusting! I informed them while we were there, and I took the survey they sent after our stay. The survey and my comments were supposed to be shown for others to see for the specific room we stayed in, but of course, my comments were not listed. Rented from Sunset Properties in 2013. Loved the house that our family stayed in. Paid the required $30 while vacationing in 2013 to reserve the same property for 2014. Made the initial deposit in January, 2014 and docu-signed the contract. After making the payment we contacted the office to ensure that the payment had gone through. We were informed by a member of the staff that they had indeed received payment and the date was set for the 2014 rental. When contacting Sunset Properties to make final payment at the end of May, 2014 we were informed that the contract had been cancelled. We did not

If I could give them MINUS stars, I would! Do NOT book with this company!! We had all the faith in them after renting a lovely home last summer (2013). We even paid the extra $30 to "reserve" the same home for 2014. Then the nightmare of all vacationers happens to our family (all from out-of-town except for one group), we call for a final balance to pay off our 2014 rental and are told it was rented to another group because THEY (Sunset Prop) applied our down payment to our 2013 vacation (7 months prior and already OVER) as an "overpayment"!!
