All in-home support visits now require screening to see if we should work together. Local, fast, knowledgeable, and patient (but also irreverent and sometimes brutally honest) technical support for Hopkins, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Edina, Eden Prairie, Orono, Wayzata, and Saint Louis Park. Pretty much anywhere west of the Lowry Hill tunnel.

Since 2005, I have enjoyed providing tech support to homes and small businesses. I like being quite different from the big box store support options. Don't you hate it when a professional 'mystifies' the service they are providing? As much as is feasible, I empower you to understand and be a good steward of your technology.
Most of the time, I can diagnose your technology problem over the phone. Sometimes, your technology problem can even be fixed over the phone in a few minutes. In all cases, I'll get some information from you such as which OS (operating system) you are using, which ISP (internet service provider) you use, and when the problem began.
Your hardware, your software (and probably your music collection) can all be replaced at an acceptable cost. Technology really isn't all that expensive. On the other hand, your personal data is not replaceable. Your photos, documents, tax information, videos, and anything else that you have created is not replaceable.
We love Macs too because they simply work better, they're pleasant to use, and they are more fun. Macs can be challenging to run a business from, but that's a controversy for another venue. Unlike a PC, if a Mac is malfunctioning, it's probably a real issue. A PC is always somewhere between broken and working properly.
Are you getting a new computer because of a software problem? Before you go out and get a new computer, get advice on whether you need to make that leap yet. If your young computer is sluggish or otherwise regularly problematic, there is a good chance it's worth investing in, rather than getting a new one.

I was having an issue with my Microsoft 365 apps. All of the apps were disabled and I was not able to activate them. Spent 4 hours on live chats and phone with Microsoft trying to resolve. Lots of non-English speakers and no progress. Kept being promised to be connected with U.S Support but never happened.
Got tired of that approach and called Brad at CTS. He explained how he works (and very reasonable fees) and got right into my issue. We worked online. 45 minutes later he had the problem identified and repaired. Explained what he was doing along the way. Very pleasant to deal with.

Great service that went above and beyond what was expected. I received a prompt reply to the online contact form. Brad worked hard to diagnose the problem I was experiencing and he provided several helpful recommendations. He even followed up with an email after a few days to see how things were going. Brad provided excellent help to me as I was migrating files and data from a backup drive to my new Windows 10 PC. Scheduling an appointment was easy, plus he was right on time. He understood what I needed to do very quickly and resolved my problems right away. He explained things clearly so that I understood what to do after he left. He also introduced me to several applications that have made getting up to speed in Windows 10 much easier. I highly recommend Brad!!

Brad was an enormous help to me in assessing and fixing my printer and laptop connection problems. He spoke in clear language I could understand to help me understand how computers "think" and communicate. Brad was easy to book an appointment with and his rates were reasonable.
