I had a blowout for New Years Eve with Marcelo and couldn’t have been happier with how it came out. The entire experience was very pleasant. Avant Garde has a great, festive atmosphere, the employees are all very helpful and friendly, and the quality of the service is top notch.

I chose Sam to work on my disastrous hair (overgrown roots untreated since pandemic started as I was working and studying from home) based on a friend's recommendation and she did a lovely job.
It was a lengthy application (5-6 hours) due to the type of work I wanted but it was worth it, and both Sam and the staff thereat, as well as the place setting, made us feel welcome.
They even let my husband and small pup wait for me inside and were gracious about it. My husband and pup behaved accordingly, of course😊🐶💛
I plan to go back to lighten my hair roots even more and get a more platinum

A friend of mine and I went here last weekend to get our hair and makeup done for a friend’s wedding. Olga did curls for me and Jay did an updo for my friend. Jay did both of our makeup. Could not have been more pleased with how everything came out. Highly recommend this place! The staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you guys!

I came to this salon for a color correction of ombré on my hair. I was given the stylist Juan Sánchez and explained to him what I wanted and also showed him a few sample pictures. He gave me exactly what I wanted and was able to correct the mess I had come into the salon with! I’m so satisfied with the results. This salon will now be my go to and I will most definitely refer family and friends here.

Anthony is AMAZING! Saved my hair! He is an absolute professional stylist. Anthony is the only person who was able to take his time, listen to my concerns, corrected and transformed my hair into what I envisioned.
