Matt Walsh is a Massachusetts native and life long North Shore resident. A graduate of Saint Michael's College, he spent 10 years in the commercial construction & design industry before transitioning to home inspection. His years of building experience are invaluable to him as an inspector - knowing how a house should be built from the ground up helps Matt quickly recognize when things haven't been constructed, or maintained properly.

Matt was very responsive. Contacting me less than 30 min from when I made my inquiry. He was early and professional taking me step by step through the process making sure I knew what he was looking for and also giving tips on if something were to go wrong in the future. Matt did our home inspection for a property we are in the process of purchasing. He was on the job early and got straight to work. He was very professional, friendly, and thorough. He seems to follow a consistent process, inspecting each item from roof to basement to ensure that no item is missed. I googled for a local home inspector and liked Matt's website and qualifications. So, I called him and he responded immediately. I was looking for someone to inspect my elderly parents' large, old home. They had some window leakage due to rot recently and we convinced them to have an inspection for safety reasons, as they have decided to stay in their home. Matt was very personable and patient with both of. my parents during the inspection. His report is clear, thorough and easy to understand. He identified two "must fix asap" problems and also a number of things that need to be taken care of or

Matt picked up the phone first time and remained responsive throughout the experience. He was professional, detailed, patient, polite, friendly, and especially efficient at moving through the entire inspection. He was particularly helpful with direct communications with our builder as questions arose during the walk-through and then patiently explaining any remaining questions we had.
