Recycling is the process of taking a product at the end of its useful life and using all or part of it to make another product. The internationally recognized symbol for recycling includes three arrows moving in a triangle. Each arrow represents a different part of the recycling process, from collection to re-manufacture to resale.
Paper drink cartons - Empty, plastic-coated paper beverage cartons such as milk and juice cartons. Remove caps and straws. Do not flatten. As technology improves, we have been able to require much less preparation of the recyclables for pick-up. No longer must a resident remove labels or caps from food containers.
Collection of your recycling occurs on the same day as your trash pickup and varies by community and where you live within your community. The following is information for each of the RRRASOC member communities. The City of Novi contracts with Waste Management of Michigan Inc. to be the sole provider of trash, recycling, yard waste and bulk item collection.
According to the EPA, as much as 80 - 90 percent of office waste can be recycled. Many businesses are realizing that sustainability plans are not only the right thing to do, but can save significant money. One easy step of a sustainability plan is to reduce waste by recycling. By implementing a few easy steps, your office could be on its way to becoming greener [or] more Earth-friendly.
In today's fast paced technical world, Electronic Waste - or E-Waste - is the fastest growing portion of the municipal waste stream. For each new product, one or more becomes outdated or obsolete. Consequently, Americans are storing or discarding older electronic products faster than ever. E-Waste means electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life."

Easy way to recycle if you live in many of the apartment buildings with in 10 miles of here. Don't have to sort, but no plastic bags (I dump the recyclables out of the black plastic bags and took the bags back to refill) and no styrofoam. You can go to their website for a full list of what they take. I have used this place since the late 1990s when I lived near it. Glad this community service is still available.
