Services
The Mastropietro Winery is a family owned business established in 2005. Our Tuscan-style winery features a tasting room, a banquet room, and a kitchen. The Italian decor, enhanced with stone fireplaces, creates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing evening with family and friends. We have a wonderful selection of fresh food and various other beverage options available for your enjoyment.
The Mastropietro Winery has a thriving vineyard which produces many of the grapes we use for our wines. Our estate-grown varietals include Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, and Frontenac which are used to create many of the remarkable wines you'll see below. We also import grapes from Northern California to round out our collection of remarkable wine.
Our winery is situated on a picturesque 14 acres in Berlin Center, Ohio. Three acres of this country setting have our established vineyards and the remainder of our grounds is used for many of our special events throughout the year such as fireworks, balloonfest, outdoor entertaining, and car shows.
Our outdoor and indoor amenities provide the perfect variety of unique settings for your special event. Our gazebos, pavilions, and outdoor seating, as well as a banquet room are all available to rent for your special day. Birthdays, weddings, graduation parties, and business events are just a few of the types of special events we host each year.
For those looking to extend their visit to the winery or simply enjoy a peaceful break from the everyday treadmill of life, the opportunity is available right here! The Bella Fattoria Bed and Breakfast, directly next to Mastropietro Winery, has lovely accommodations and accepts reservations.

Bob and Brenda Hernan and Jan Pumphrey purchased the old farmhouse in front of the Mastropietro Winery and have transformed it into a wonderful bed and breakfast. The charming house built prior to 1900 is now named Bella Fattoria ("Beautiful Farmhouse") and features three luxurious guests suites - each with a distinct decor, a private bathroom and a fireplace.

Lovely winery tucked away in a quiet country setting. Staff is pleasant and welcoming. Wine is very good! Favorite is the Dolce Blanco & Dolce Rosso. The white & red sangria is also very tasty ohhhh and let's not forget the wine slushy! Yum

We have visited a few times over the last couple of years. We love sitting outside weather permitting. Only complaint is last time we were outside (July 2020) a group of rowdy 21 year olds took over and started fighting. Obviously this isn’t the winery’s fault but it could have been shut down a lot quicker.

Good wine in a beautiful setting. Great hospitality by all the staff. Looking forward to going back when the weather gets nice and we can sit outside and enjoy some music.

Though this winery does not have an especially impressive selection of wine, beer or food (though the food truck helped in this regard), we found that what they do they do well. And at a very affordable price. If, like us, you're looking to slow down and enjoy the view over a cold glass of vino (or two), you will find this to be a choice place to try. We'll definitely be back. And maybe next time we'll stay at the B&B to get the full experience.

The drinks were awesome, but the service was awful. You would think during these times when businesses are struggling they would make sure the service is A+, not so in this case. It was our first time in the sports bar, so disappointed. We were there at least 10 minutes before the bar maid even made an appearance, let alone get a second drink. Not sure if we’ll go back!!!

My opinion is based on a Harvest Host experience.
My husband and I, on our way to Mount Rushmore, stayed a night at the winery with our fifth wheel. Let me start by saying we did not expect the place to be that nice. We arrived on a Friday night, there was live music, nice ambiance, family oriented crowd, a food truck. They have a great selection of wine AND beer. I’m not a wine person, but my husband ordered one that tasted a lot like a wine we drink in Brazil. It was a pleasant evening. There was even a couple in their 60’s dancing in the gazebo to the live music... fire pits all over the

They have a wonderful selection of robust wines. Full of flavor and the outdoor patio with stone gas fire pits are perfect for the cold evening. Food trucks are always friendly staff and so yummy. There is allot to look at with the beautiful pond in front of the patio. Sunsets are not obstructed.
