I just moved out sunstone after staying their for one year. This experience is a nightmare. The management team have various ways and excuses to steal your money. They are professional and they have tons of time to play with you. Unless you have nothing else to do, stay away from this place!
1. The condition of the building is horrible. VERY dirty place. Roaches everywhere! And they will charge you $72 in the name of "roach clean" after you move out.
2. Be careful of their rental! They will find various reasons to charge you on your move out. First, you need to pay $170 when you move out. Besides

This location is not safe, just use the Trulia app to see the criminal rate and search the local news. I don't know why the pics are not shown here but you can also search online to see I am not lying.
I wanted to move to Sunstone until I witnessed the murder in Camelot Village apartment (0.3 miles from Sunstone). You can just search the local new with key words: Feb 19, 20, 2021, Camelot Village apartment.
The murder happened near the University Mall across the Haris Teeter (0.5 miles from Sunstone), more than 6 police cars came. I saw the suspect running into the place near Wells Fargo (0.3

Amenities are nice and the location is beautiful but that’s the best thing I can say about my experience here. They were still performing maintenance in my apartment up until my move-in date and had to push back the time I could pick up my keys. Yet, the apartment still wasn’t ready to move into. Mismatched paint everywhere, cobwebs on the ceiling, wet carpet, and roaches. I’ve reached out to maintenance and management multiple times about it, and a month and a half later I still have roaches everywhere. I’ve also had a work order in for a broken washing machine for a month now. Management

They had a good deal so me and my bf applied and looked. The places are small and not at all worth 1,300$ for a unrenovated 2 bedroom. Look anywhere else! I unfortunately was looking forward to moving to chapel hill when Giana told us that the application would be done within a week. We were not told until 3 days before our move date that we were not approved which was fine because 2 days before that they increased the rent from 1,099 to 1,299$ ! Huge difference. They have to worst communication it’s like they don’t want to work . They say property manager on site but it took 3 weeks to get

We love our apartment here for so many reasons. The closets are really big. The staff has been very kind to us. I love the wood-look flooring, even if it isn't really wood. I love the layout. I love the storage off the balcony. Yeah, there are some bumps in the night, but that will happen anywhere. Upon moving in, the first thing we did was lose our keys 😱 Once we logged a ticket, the maintenance man showed up promptly with new keys. Then, of course, we found the keys 😄 Anyway, I'm so glad we found this place.

The overall 2.5 stars rating would be a compliment of the complex.
I have been trying to help my brother (special needs) move however was told by Solomon management that we cannot "notice to vacate" until they speak with the roommate. **Note, my brother did not resign the lease agreement nor is contractually bond to the apartment but the process is being delayed with little to no response.
Please evaluate the living space & how to vacate once you have honored your portion of the agreement before signing at Sunstone Apartments managed by Solomon Organization.

WARNING!! DO NOT MOVE HERE! STAY AWAY! They have cockroaches everywhere. I lived there 2 years in 2 different apartments because of so many problems with the first apartment. Both had bad infestation. Ceiling was falling in the first apartment and had to be transferred to a different one even though they told me it was "New and Renovated". Pictures are of my "new" and "renovated" apartment, WHEN I MOVED IN! No one in management office cares or does anything. So many different office and maintenance workers in 2 years, no one good or nice ever stays, always say the same thing "we are going to make

International students and scholars, be careful! The leasing office seems to take advantage of alien scholars. Personally, I have mixed experience dealing with the leasing office, but I have to share two terrible stories. Firstly, we have moved out for 4 months, yet never received the move-out statement and security deposit. The first time we called the office to inquire, we were told that the depsoit was sent to a wrong address, even though we have provided our correct forwarding address twice, both on the office's move-out notice form and on the envolope containing the keys we returned to the

Apartment management is terrible. They rented us a property with really bad running water without letting us know. They keep making excuses about not being able to fix things like missing containers in the refrigerator. They seem to be basically happy just getting people to sign with these defects that residents will eventually notice and move out because they will be able to lease out their property to new people just because of the demand for being in a great location and proximity to the UNC campus. Definitely moving out after the lease ends.

All the way up to the third floor at age 46 and out of condition. Whew! The stairwell outside the apt is kinda narrow. I don't know how someone would get much decent furniture up here. One of the first things I noticed about this place is that the floors are very uneven. In the living room and between the dining area and the living room there is such a slope that I feel like I am on a ride at 6 Flags. My daughter is tiny so she decided to outfit her apt w/ Ikea:( Not only do the floors feel so cheap that you never know at which moment you are gonna be visiting the ppl on the

I've been putting this off because I don't like to give one star reviews, but here goes. I moved out of Sunstone in July after about 12 months living there. My roommate and I actually paid a prorated month at our new apartment and moved out with two weeks left on our lease because we just couldn't wait any longer.
We should have taken note of the shady business practices of the office staff during the leasing process - they told us we'd have the first month free, but didn't tell us that they were adding a 13th month onto the lease. We negotiated that and moved on. The
