One of the most important aspects of your successful treatment is a clear diagnosis. We will need to know our problems well before we go about solving them. I will spend the time and work with you to determine these. I may request to speak with family, friends, and previous physicians to get to know you and your situation better and provide you the best care.
I provide medication management and substance and psychiatric treatment for adolescent patients in a residential treatment facility. I work with families, treatment staff and other providers in identifying diagnoses and in overall treatment planning as well. I review admissions, conduct and review physical examinations, determine treatment service eligibility and medical necessity.

NAMI is a great program that exists to help reinforce the message that people suffering from mental illness and addiction are not alone.
