The Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons is dedicated to the public's direct access to ophthalmic care. A non-profit organization, MSEPS member ophthalmologists are medical doctors specializing in the evaluation and treatment of the normal and abnormal eye.
MSEPS seeks to aid physicians who practice ophthalmology in their relations with patients, hospitals, medical institutions, governmental agencies and other groups related to the practice of ophthalmology.MSEPS represents ophthalmology in the MA State Legislature as well as at the MA Department of Health and all other state agencies.

Services
If you are an ophthalmologist who is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are eligible to become a member of MSEPS. As the only organization specifically advocating for the practice of ophthalmology in our state, MSEPS needs your participation to strengthen our voice. The annual MSEPS Dues Letter is mailed to you with your AAO Dues Letter.
If you prefer to pay your membership dues by check, you can mail your check (payable to "MSEPS") to: Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, PO Box 236, Boston, MA 02133. Please include a copy of your completed Dues Letter with your check. If you prefer to pay your membership dues by credit card, you have two options.
MSEPS sponsors members-in-training to attend American Academy of Ophthalmology's Mid-Year Forum as Advocacy Ambassadors, where residents and fellows participate in leadership development and advocacy efforts. Working with the Department of Public Health and the MA Medical Society, MSEPS has developed an on-going program to educate the public on glaucoma, especially targeting the most at-risk segments of the population.
MSEPS Member Search is intended for use by the general public to assist in locating ophthalmologists within a specific region. This directory is compiled from self-reported information provided by member ophthalmologists.

The Massachusetts Ophthalmological Society Inc. later became the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
