I've been going to Dr. Chung for years, and I can honestly say I've never had a better dentist. Wonderful "chairside" manner. Incredible professionalism who really cares about the work he does and he's very kind and works with a great group of people in his office. His hygienists are also top notch. If you have any nerves about going to a dentist, I would say Dr. Chung is the perfect dentist to see. He's a calming presence who is easy to trust. We are very lucky to have this kind and gifted dentist here in Long Beach!

I visited Dr. Chung's office yesterday for my dental hygienist appointment. I saw and spoke with Dr. Chung with casual conversation, his dental assistant, Maria took my temperature and Yolanda, the new hygienist took me to her exam room. I always enjoy talking to Dr. Chung as we have mutual friends. His dental expertise is amazing. He has saved many, many of my teeth over the years. His assistant Maria, is a doll and so comforting when I have been in the chair. Darlene Ann is their front office person and she too is the most friendly and welcoming person ever. I love them all. Dr. Chung and staff are efficient, professional, respectful and welcoming. I have been a client of this practice for many years and have had nothing but competent care. From Darlene's greeting at the door and help with appointments to the hygienists who provide the best in care and advice, the assistants who show care in their work to Dr. Chung himself who is straightforward, an expert in his work and kind in his approach the entire staff deserves five stars.

Dr. Chung, his staff, & the new Hygienists for me, Yolanda, are great. They are very friendly, knowledgeable & concerned about my dental health & hygiene. I wish my visits were covered by my dental insurance, but it isn't. I pay out of pocket because I like their concern & service of my dental needs.

He is wonderful. Takes time to explain things. Gets to know you as a person and loves to talk baseball! I know he also gives back to the community (LB Rescue Mission) and others. Staff is solid - They have all been there a long time. Best of all, for me, they have early (0700) hours for cleaning!!! That's a real plus when you have to work.

Started seeing Dr. Chung a few years back as he is my husband's dentist. What a great decision! Great maintenance care and they make sure to keep me reminded when it is due; don't push for unneeded services (like my last dentist), but let me know when I really need something done for my health; and have been available for now two "emergency" visits - lost crown and lost filling (both from old dentist). Great bedside manners from Dr. Chung and the whole staff is so nice and makes you feel like part of the family. Fully recommend.

Dr. Chung's office is cozy, clean, and peaceful. My children and I have been going for years and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Chung is very patient and very kind. He takes time to not only talk about our dental issues, but to visit..on a friendly and personable level. I would highly recommend Dr. Chung to anyone seeking excellent dental care! Dr. Chung is personable and a great doctor. I was a dental assistant in my younger days and worked with several dentist in one office and four years in another office with one dentist. I worked with really great dentists back then. Dr. Chung is a good as any of them and his patient care is beyond any dentist I have ever worked for or been to as a patient myself. I recommend Dr. Chung and his staff without any hesitation!

Today was my first visit to Dr. Chung's office. I was referred to him by a neighbor. Normally, going to the dentist is not my thing but Dr. Chung and his staff were so comforting and understanding that I started to relax after my x-rays were taken. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was so nice and gave me some great tips on improving a few things about my teeth that need improvement. I definitely recommend this office for your dental needs. Great team.

I've been going to Dr. Chung for over 10 years along with my wife and now my kids. The staff is kind, highly professional, efficient, and effective. Dr Chung and his hygienists have taken time to get to know us and show a genuine interest in our lives. They operate with a deep sense of integrity and honesty. We love them.... and so do our teeth!

I have been going to Dr. Chung for only about 4 years now, but I absolutely could not recommend him more highly. This morning for instance, he came into the lobby and sat down with me before we went in to get to work. I was scheduled to have a filling and some other work.
His desk is staffed by Darlene who is always pleasant and gives me reminders so I never miss an appointment. The hygienists are thorough and always comforting. Dr. Chung's assistant Maria is masterful. So I recognize that he has a tremendous supporting cast. But at the end of the day, Dr. Chung makes a world of difference
