Dave and his wife Trixie and family of four kids have been part of the Santa Barbara community since the early 90's. I have been custom building wheels since I was 13.so that's 40 years when I had my first bike shop in my parent's basement. Local riders as well as Tour de France champions have tested my craftsmanship to the limits. My customers demand wheels with strength that are unique to their riding style. Dave is great! I called him about a new SRAM cassette that just came out and he ordered it and installed in on my bike within 2 days. He did the work in an hour and his labor charge was extremely fair. He also improved my bike fit at no extra charge. This place is a "find" and he has another loyal customer.

These guys are awesome! I had a tire and seat stolen off my ten year old bike and brought it in to get it fixed up. I don't ride much so I just wanted enough to ride it again. They immediately went through what they had, found the parts I needed and installed them for me. I was out the door in half an hour. Extremely happy

I got a bike as a gift and was having some issues with dialing it in. The reviews said this was one of the best shops in town but they also were high end. I am a newbie and was a bit concerned walking into a specialty shop like this.
Dave (owner) grabbed my bike and my cell phone and told me he knows exactly what to do. I came back the next day and my bike was ready to go and Dave took his time to explain to me what he did. Here I am a $50.00 customer getting the $10,000 bike treatment that one would expect from a shop like this. He not only took the time to explain what he did but he answered
