Paid out of pocket to basically be told they couldn't help me because it wasn't a bone issue even though this is an orthopedics office. Knees are part of the musculoskeletal system, but it seems like they just wanted to be useless and take my money. After trying to contact lolly three times about getting the MRI referral I went somewhere else.
Thanks to them I got to spend an extra two weeks in a leg immobilizer and need physical therapy :)

I had a pain in my left hand and doctor suggested a physio therapy session. Therapist just asked me to do some common exercise and charged more than $550 and unfortunately my insurance couldn't cover 60% of it. I was wondering that when other physio therapists offer $80 for the same treatment how these guys over charging the poor. I think its better We search google and try those exercises before spending huge money for a therapist.

Overall, the staff was pleasant. I was called back in just a few minutes and only waited a few more, prior to the doctor seeing me. Dr. John Paul Rodriguez spoke with me (not at), listened, and took time to explain my issue & prescribed plan in layman terms. A much more human experience than I have had from other doctors at other clinics.

The appointment and check in process was very easy and efficient. Paying copayment online before your appointment is a great feature for contactless check in. Dr Hardy is a great doctor. He takes his time to listen to your issues and answer all my questions thoroughly. All his staffs are very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

They took wrong xray. Why? Because nurse just assumed that I have a sprain in Ankle and not foot. Or may be entire staff was busy discussing the weather.
The doctor said I have a sprain - yes I know. Gave me exercise sheet print outs. Did not explain me the exercises, considering there were props used. Fortunately, it was not my first sprain so I knew what questions to ask. I waited in the room for 50 min. Spend less than 5 with the doctor and nurse combined. Waiting for x-ray charges to hit me - which were not needed to be done twice.

I have gone to Texas Orthopedics now for a broken wrist, hip, and now a finger, as well as back issues. I have seen four different doctors there. Without reservation I will say they are all good and I am very critical when it comes to medical clinicians. My most recent was seeing Dr. Logan and hands-down he was my favorite! He was very personable, he took his time with me, he listened, he looked over the x-ray with me and showed me what was going on. He made a few well-placed jokes and was extremely easy to talk to.
I not only recommend Texas Orthopedics I strongly recommend Dr. Logan!

On Monday, July. 19, 2021, I saw Dr. Scott Smith in the office. I had wanted a second opinion on my orthopedic concerns. I had had several suggestions for treatment by other doctors. Dr. Smith was straightforward and of great help. His personality and manner was reassuring. His recommendations made me feel that he understood my concerns and validated them. I would recommend him to anyone that needs to be seen for orthopedic issues that wants an honest patient oriented evaluation and recommendation. I would and will see him again.
I have seen Dr. Hardy in the same clinic for my thumb and have received

He is one of the best Doctors I have ever been to. I have two autoimmune diseases. He was extremely thorough investigating what illnesses I have. I get great care when I go for my visits and I never feel rushed. If I message his office through the portal or leave a voice mail I always get prompt service. I have never had such great care. Never ever. So grateful! I see Dr Koval or his nurse practitioner.

I had undergone months of assessment with my primary care doctor for unusual unilateral chest pain that was not caused by any common explanation and reached the point of needing orthopedic review to assess for spinal/rib issues. Dr. Mukai was recommended and though I respect her knowledge and rational approach to ruling out two major possibilities, the entire TX Orthopedics system is set up to leave patients confused and there is no one picking up the slack. I ended up having a nerve block procedure that for most people resolves pain and has very quick recovery times, but not me - I was debilitated

Nothing I could say could better express my satisfaction with the practice than the fact that I was able to book an appointment on the same day that I called in to see a doctor.
Dr. Savage was great! After he reviewed the x-rays and examined me, he asked me to listen to his assessment and to hold my questions and my self diagnoses until he finished. I interrupted him at least twice, and he told me (very politely) to just shut up and LISTEN.
It was very refreshing to score a doctor who gets to the point without all the namby-pamby Mayo Clinic Listen To The Patient crap. Patients should be patients

Dr. Jonathan Race performed surgery for my torn meniscus. Everything went as planned. The procedure was easy and quick. My recovery went quicker than I anticipated and I am very happy with the results. I never felt like I was being rushed or not getting the time I needed at office visits or during the surgery. All of the Texas Orthopedics office on Capital of Texas Highway were very nice and professional.

Absolutely awful service. Do not expect to be able to call and talk to someone to schedule, that takes DAYS for them. If you do need to call, make sure you have an hour (I wish that was an exaggeration) to sit on hold and wait to talk to someone.
Save yourself the headache, go somewhere that isn't too busy to take care of you.

I was referred to Dr. Mukai by my wonderful PCP, Dr. Todd Cannon. I'm an ER nurse and have been dealing with increasing pain in my back, legs and feet. I am also very active outside of work. I love to run and found that running began to make my lower back hurt even worse.
Dr. Mukai was very attentive to my concerns and explained her plan of care. I did an MRI, we scheduled PT with Katie O'Sullivan, who is amazing. My back pain improved immensely! I could sleep better, my legs and feet didn't hurt as bad. I had to give up running and I've started biking instead.

Dr. Race is a professional and knowledgeable doctor, he listened to my concern and showed some personal approach. The front staff is very friendly and help patients promptly. I liked the facility and how clean and well maintained it was. I am only waiting on my test result so far and as soon as I get it I will change my rating to five stars. Location is easy to find and they have spacious parking.
P.S. As I said I updated my review by adding a star.

After leaving my review describing my poor experience here, especially in Texas Orthopedics communication, I was left a Yelp message within minutes to "gather more information".
I talked with them for a few messages and they let me know that the COO would call me within a day. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and have a conversation. Unfortunately I never received a phone call. It's interesting that I was messaged within minutes of leaving my review and there was a public reply to it that they'll get in touch, but it never actually happened.

I had hip surgery last year with Texas Orthopedics. My surgeon was Dr. McDonald and I had an overall good experience... well as good experience as possible having a major surgery. Dr. McDonald was able to diagnose my often hard to diagnose issue, and explained everything clearly along the way. He tried conservative options before we discussed surgery. Even then, I never felt pressured to have surgery.
Dr. McDonald was always very friendly and reassuring before, after and during surgery. His PA, Kate, was especially kind and funny. My recovery was not easy, but they provided the guidance to make
