This is an update from my previous review, I gave a great review my first week after knee replacement surgery, but by week 6 it had gone down hill fast! I was and still am in severe pain, I told dr Gallagher I thought my knee was infected, after several months of complaining he finally had me in to X-ray. He said there was some black around the knee but nothing to worry about. Well, we should’ve worried, I ended up in the hospital with sepsis. I am now on antibiotics for the rest of my life and still in excruciating pain! Wish I’d never had the surgery to begin with!

My general physician referred me to Dr. Ben Amis after I broke my wrist in an accident. His staff was wonderful, and was able to work me in within a couple of days of my call. At my first appointment, Dr. Amis went over the X-ray of my broken bone, clearly explained the nature of my injury and the options available. We agreed that surgery offered the best route for optimal healing, so 2 days later he operated on my wrist and apparently did a great job. I couldn't be happier with how well the injury has healed. He referred me to a physical therapist who has also been great. Dr. Amis and his office

Dr. Gallagher is an AMAZING orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Gallagher was recommended to me by a close friend in early 2021 after I tore my ACL. I saw Dr. Gallagher a few weeks post-injury and he confirmed via imagining my ACL was torn. He walked me through my options with detail and answered all my questions. Unlike most orthopedic surgeons, he listened carefully and I never, ever felt rushed. I decided to have my ACL repaired. When surgery day came, Dr. Gallagher made me feel comfortable and again answered all my questions. Surgery was great and recovery honestly went better than I expected. Dr. Gallagher

I went to see Dr Gallagher in early 2015 on a referral from a friend who highly recommended him. I liked Dr. Gallagher right away, he’s been one of the most sincere, compassionate, understanding and clearly the best knee doctor I’ve ever met. I had a left knee joint replacement in September 2015 and within three months of the surgery I’m back doing everything I wanted to do, I snow ski, water ski, I jog a little, I run on my elliptical trainer, I ride bikes, I do everything I wanna do. As an ex ranked athlete in two sport’s I highly recommend Dr Sean Gallagher!

ATX Orthopedic’s, Dr. Sean Gallagher if your looking for a spectacular surgeon for knee surgery. He just did total knee replacements on my knees two weeks ago today. I feel so blessed to have found him. I have been a working nurse for 35 plus years and when it comes to finding a good doctor that’s great with his patients, has the best bedside manner I have ever seen and is a great surgeon as well. He and his staff are the best in Austin, Texas. FYI I am so glad I had both knees done at the same time. I am walking without any assistance of walker, cane or anything else. I feel great and I am

After months of shoulder pain, seeing multiple doctors and numerous rounds of physical therapy, I was recommended to go see Dr. Gallagher at ATX Orthopedics.
He diagnosed my shoulder issue without imaging, explained everything, showed me what was happening on his shoulder model and answered all of my ridiculous questions. He provided me with some very basic rehab movements to do and within 2 weeks, my shoulder was remarkably better.
Ever since then, whenever I have a sports injury or joint pain, I go straight to Dr. Gallagher without hesitation. 10 / 10 would recommend.
