Had me a waiting to buy my food that was sitting in front of me for about 8 minutes and try to charge me $18 I said “I only got one sandwich” and the girl said “sorry she addred an extra $4 by mistake.” My total came out to $14.38 for one philly that is very flat and has 2/3 barely covered with meat. It’s a CHEESESTEAK b there maybe one slice of cheese. Horrible I’m gonna try adding more ingredients to an already expensive sandwich just to make it edible. The staff was atleast friendly so you get 1 extra star thank your staff.

Super disappointed in my lunch order yesterday. I got a turkey burger. On the menu it is described as a grilled turkey burger on a Kaiser roll with lettuce, onions, tomato and served with a side salad. All well and good except for the fact that it was also served with avocado which I am highly allergic to. I had to discard the bun and all of the toppings and just have the patty with the side salad, as this was the only safe option for me to not have a severe allergic reaction. I personally haven't been here in OVER a good 20+ years. Visiting yesterday for a "quick stop", I soon felt quite comfortable being here, as prior. There were, by count, minimally 7 workers that all
knew their duties appearing choreographed not interfering with the others work stations. The coffee is self-serve -- a feature that I like. Unfortunately, for it being midday, some coffees were n/a. Inside is so clean. Smells delicious walking in. staff was all friendly and helpful. Menu filled with a little bit of everything with room to make your own. I got chicken cutlet on a roll (picture attached). Partner got "The Roast." Both were perfect. Even the "deli coffee" was tasty (not burned or bitter). Highly recommend.

I just moved up here about a month ago from the Bronx to the Avalon in Somers. This place is right across the street and it was the only take out menu we had. I was a little hesitant to order. The place doesn't look like much from the outside. Let me tell you the food was amazing their bread was the best I've tasted and their eggplant is the best I've ever had. The place is clean the staff is friendly it's my definite go to place. If I was having a party I would definitely have the food catered from here.

Great deli, man. The sandwiches are not only excellent, but delightful. The bread GCM uses is top notch. It's firm, yet soft and will make your toppings of choice feel like a slice of heaven. I can't recommend the chipotle chicken enough. My wife loves the Chicken ranch club, which comes with cutlet as opposed to grilled chicken on the aforementioned Chipotle chicken.
If chickens not your speed, I've heard the roast beef is superb in addition to an excellent vegetarian taste with the portobello mushroom.
I haven't tried the pizza, can't say I'm adventurous enough

I hope somebody at GCD is reading this and looking to improve their business because this place deserves SO many more stars than I'm giving it. I almost want to give it 2 stars but I enjoy their food too much to do that. Everything I have ever gotten here I love. I normally stick with the deli options and never have ordered anything to be made in their kitchen although their menu looks delicious. The food is wonderful but the people working there are hit or miss and the service is SO SLOW. You legitimately need to set aside 20 minutes if you are going to order from here it drives me crazy

This place should be called Grand Larceny!! It's overpriced sandwiches are dried out and very sloppy. The staff is less than attentive and discourteous. It's only busy because there is no where else to go on that side of town. You're better off making a PB&J on stale bread and chunky peanut butter then going here.

Omelettes that are out if this world! Healthy egg white omelet filled with fresh veggies and alpine lace Swiss, accompanied by thick crunchy toast and a potato/onion/pepper mix that was hard to resist. The portions were so generous we had a tough time finishing!! Nice selection of coffees. I had the donut blend. Very good. The cases are filled with delicious looking lunch and dinner items too. Wish it were closer to home!

The place is clean and the breakfast is ok. but I was disapointed when I ordered a chicken wrap. There was hardly any chicken in it, and it was dried out and very thin. it should have been called a lettuce wrap. Its also way overpriced, they are charging manhattan prices and not delivering the quality of a real deal nyc deli...GO TO A & S in Jefferson Valley!!!!

This is my absolute favorite Deli. They have so many amazingly delicious sandwiches. My personal favorite are the Chicken Supreme and the Eggplant Supreme. (Chicken or Eggplant with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers and balsamic glaze). Incredible.
