Services
Samantha Preis will address your health concerns and design your acupuncture treatment to address both the symptoms and the root of your condition. First she will listen to your concerns and gather information about your symptoms, lifestyle and health habits. Then she will discuss recommendations you can incorporate into your diet and lifestyle to improve your condition and prevent future imbalances.
On your initial visit I will gain a clear understanding from you about your goals of treatment. These may be to reduce pain, recover from an injury, manage a disease, etc. These goals will guide our treatment plan and give us a clear direction. I will review your health history and ask many questions about your current symptoms and habits.
The first is the Acute Care phase when most symptoms are addressed and resolved. Treatments are scheduled 2-3 times per week to obtain the quickest and most dramatic changes. Next is the Maintenance Care phase when we continue to maintain the progress we have achieved in the Acute Care phase and support the body as we continue to challenge it.
Samantha has 18 years of experience treating many kinds of pain and often provides immediate and dramatic relief of pain on the first visit. She has a wide range of strategies to access for treating injuries or pain conditions. She is trained in Traditional Chinese acupuncture which incorporates cupping, moxa, gua sha and direct needling.
Acupuncture can treat a wide variety of causes of back pain. Bulging discs, strained muscles, back spasms, nerve inflammation, can all benefit from acupuncture and/or Chinese herbs. Often times treatment of the back involves both acupuncture and cupping to strongly circulate the blood and relax the muscles.

First timer trying acupuncture. I came to Samantha for a variety of problems mainly pertaining to my immune system being so weak. I had "long hauler" symptoms from COVID-19 and I couldn't find relief for months after recovery. I experienced chronic insomnia, scary heart palpitations, and the constant feeling of being under the weather. After 2-3 sessions and some of her herbs my sleep came back 100%. I also notice that keeping my appointments on a weekly basis I don't get sick like I used ! I am 29 and now feel great as I should for my age! Samantha Preis is a natural healer and an angel.
