Christiansburg Pharmacy was founded by Senthil "Sen" Marimuthu. In 2004, Sen moved to the New River Valley and quickly fell in love with the college town atmosphere and strong community spirit. After over a decade of experience in retail pharmacy, Sen decided the best way to serve the people of the New River Valley was to operate his own independent pharmacy.

I always have an excellent experience at Christiansburg Pharmacy. Even when extremely busy. Sometimes my prescription is on back order for LONG periods of time but that is out of their control. I'm grateful that they help me with other options of the same medication when my regular meds are on back order. Thank you to everyone at Christiansburg Pharmacy!

Seriously the best pharmacy!! Every single time I come here, they are so sweet. I was taking a prepu quiz on my phone and was in the drive thru waiting and wasn’t paying attention to the car behind me so I decided to pull in a parking spot to finish my quiz and to give them time and the lady brought my medicine to me! (Still confirming my name and DOB of course❤️) anyways, it was just something she didn’t have to do but she did anyways. Outstanding, I always recommend them 1000% oh and my prescriptions don’t take longer than 15 minutes and seriously I don’t think it’s even taken longer

Christiansburg pharmacy is amazing. They called me (not a recording)at 7:30pm to tell me that my wife's prescriptions were ready. I told them that I could not pick them up until the morning since my wife is in hospice and could not leave her by herself. They had someone deliver them in less than 15 minutes. I love calling them and getting a real person without having to go through a lengthy menu of options. They really care about their customers.

I have a compound prescription filled at Christiansburg Pharmacy on a regular basis. I have never had anything other than a wonderful experience with the pharmacy service and preparedness. They are always extremely pleasant. They have my prescription ready when it is promised. They make the process very easy. And I love shopping locally. I would highly recommend this business.

This pharmacy gave me the best experience I've had with any medical professional EVER. The staff were so kind and Brandon not only went above and beyond to help me get what I needed, he genuinely restored my faith in humanity. I never thought I could feel so passionately about a pharmacy, but I would die for this establishment.

Yep. All the five star reviews are spot on. Our previous pharmacy had really declined in quality over the past three or four years and we always talk about switching somewhere else. We didn't for years, because we thought it would be a huge hassle and that something would get messed up.
