Love Dr. Alamazar iBeen with him a little over a year. Never had a problem. Until recently. The girls in the office are ignorant and disrecptful. I will be changing Drs. I have never in my life have been treated so badly. I don't recommend going there. I felt like I was being discriminated against because of my illness.

I kind of stopped going, but I went off my meds. Dr Almanzar is fantastic. He really listens and makes the most of the short time he has with patients.
Also, about a year ago, I started my 36 sessions of tms. There was a roller coaster of emotions from there, but since then I've worked through so much trauma and am now a lot better at self-regulating. TMS was literally a miracle cure for my CPTSD, and I'm so grateful that it was available. I could have done EMDR for the rest of my life and not made the progress that I've now made since TMS.
I'm off my meds now. I didn't have Dr. Almanzar take

The nurses and receptionists are very nice and are usually quick to answer. Dr. Almazar can be a bit difficult to talk to, but then again I have issues with socializing. He's very straight to the point and blunt, which I need in a doctor. Though transferring files from the last psychiatrist was a pain, I still enjoy going there for appointments. They usually answer their calls fairly quick too.

Dr. Almanzar is an arrogant, know it all. I was hospitalized due to depression and knew of prior sensitivities with medication and have a wonderful husband that advocates for me. The hospitalization not only did not help, it almost killed me while under this doctors watch. Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome... Almanzar needs to read up on it and keep his knowledge up to date, even on things that are rare. Going on 4 years recovering from knocking on deaths door, due to his incompetence.

My first visit with Dr. Almanzar was a positive experience. He knows his medications well, is very knowledgeable and also, very kind and patient. He listens to my inquiries and takes the time to explain conditions, medications, treatment options and how they function together. Overall very pleased with all aspects of this practice.

I've dealt with various psychiatrists for the past six years and always left appointments feeling unheard and disregarded. I can confidently say that in the short amount of time I've been seeing Dr. Almanzar he has proven to be the most competent and caring psychiatrist in my experience. He takes his time to discuss treatments with me and get to know me and my situation. His staff is friendly and the nurse I've dealt with is also professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Almanzar and his staff to anyone looking for reliable mental health services.

Dr. Almanzar is amazing. He was the first doctor I have had who was able to quickly find medications that worked well for me. He listens to what you have to say about your treatment and doesn’t dismiss you if you have any concerns or input of your own regarding your medication. It has been awhile since I have been this stable and I owe it to Dr. Almanzar. The office staff are wonderful as well! They are so friendly and worked closely with me as I figured out insurance issues.
