Welcome to The Green House Preschool and Kindergarten - "a place for growing and learning." In 1979, The Green House Preschool and Kindergarten started simply as a white building with a green door before becoming a renowned kindergarten in Fort Lee, New Jersey. As children and teachers passed through that door, so began a tradition of excellence in preschool education.

A fantastic school with extraordinary teachers and staff. The owner, Ms. Miriam, does a great job selecting the best teachers. My boys have been attending this school for the past 3+ years. The curriculum provides an excellent balance of academics and play/ social skills. The teachers are very engaging and do a great job of identifying each child’s individual needs and development. The level of attention and care given to the children exceeds expectations. There really couldn’t be a better preschool out there than Green House. Our son is very fond of Green house!!! Our son did not know the English language when he went to pre-K. Teachers have helped him to adapt, now he feels comfortable. We love teachers and administration. They are qualified!!! Green house have good playground and sports hall! A good development program! Highly recommend this kindergarten!!!

Excellent school!
Our 2 boys (7 and 5 years old) have graduated from the Green House Preschool and Kindergarten, where they've enjoyed their learning experience and developed themselves in such a warm and loving atmosphere since they were 2 1/2 years old.
Both locations have great staff and deserve 5 stars! Our older son first started at the Fort Lee location and once the Ridgefield location was opened, he relocated there along with our younger son.
Thank you to the director, Ms. Miriam and all the wonderful staff! Thank you for helping us build a beautiful foundation and wonderful memories
