Bozeman, Teacher at The Foundation Learning Center. Happy #WorldTeachersDay! Pictured here are some of our amazing staff who work diligently every day to reach and teach our students who live with emotional disabilities, learning challenges, and autism. So many of us, along with our friends and family's mental health have suffered as a result of the pandemic.
Services
Our focus is improving outcomes for all students by providing an integrated approach addressing each student's unique academic, behavioral and social/emotional needs in a safe and supportive learning environment. We are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in the District of Columbia and adhere to State and District standards and assessments.
The Foundation Links program helps students avoid future incidents of nonattendance, prevents truancy and dropout, and re-engages students in the educational process. Through home-based and after school outreach interventions, Foundation Links connects students and their families to quality community-based resources.
A variety of dedicated staff members are needed at all times to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the educational and clinical programs at The Foundation Schools. All candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening after an employment offer is made.
This exciting event is held at the University of Maryland Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center and raises funds for the much needed intensive programming our students require. Together we can help the students of The Foundation Schools experience success despite their emotional, social, and learning challenges.
Ms. Tikita Williams, M.Ed has been dedicated to The Foundation Schools for more than 18 years. This school is nasty and they have soggy lunch and the put us in a side room And they hurt us and honestly I really don’t like that school because the buses are late and they have rats running around the school and last year there where rat and mice bites in the food so Parents I suggested your kids to go to a better school than this they take your kids phones and all electronic and they search them head to toe so that all I had to say to day
