Ike Cassoboon realized his creativity and expertise for delicious seafood cuisine in 1980. He started out with a small stand doing festivals with a variation of food products. During one of his festivals, he decided to bring along a few of his mothers crabcakes. People "went F*ing nuts" (an Ike quote) about them.

He quickly decided to start the brand Ike's Famous Crabcakes. To rewind a bit, Ike had his fair share of jobs. He was a chef at the original Cheesecake Factory in California, he cooked on a scallop boat- cooking for the crew at sea for days at a time. He also produced custom handmade highly detailed fishing rods.

All perishable product is shipped Priority Express ("Guaranteed Overnight") with USPS. Our package is meant to stay frozen for 2 days, and cold for 3. There are rare occurences when packages do not arrive on time, or even within this 3 day window. If that occurs, please contact us immediately, send pictures of the spoiled product, and dispose of the package.

We go every year. I was a bit more hesitant this year but it seems well ventilated. I always get crab cakes and my son always gets the old bay shrimp and crab soup. Never lets us down, good solid food every year. Only one locations open for in person dining.

Excellent food. The clam strips were amazing. The crab cakes are also out of this world. Crisp and crunch outer crush with soft and tender insides. Not cooked to death like most places. The sauces they give you really helped bring out the flavors, not hide them. Incredible all around.

Went to Ike's for early dinner. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by their food. I ordered the crab balls for appetizer which were delicious, crunchy on the outside and moisture inside w/ real crab meat inside. Not a lot of filler. Also ordered the crab cake sandwich platter. Platter came w/ crab cake sandwich, homemade chips and coleslaw. Crab cake was loaded with crab not filler, chips were excellent and that coleslaw was delicious. If you're looking for a crab cake and in the area their worth a try.

You can't get better than drill bit fries.
The most amazing taste to hit your mouth. Of course the famous crabcakes are out of this world also. Everything they make is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. What's not to love about Ike's!o

Great place on boardwalk, really reasonable prices and they have grouper! I never see this fish this far north. Delicious fried grouper sandwich with homemade chips and awesome coleslaw for $12.99. Friendly service, casual atmosphere, cash only!

Excellent meal of crab cakes and scallops! Loved the atmosphere. Though the boardwalk was loud and crowded when you sit in the restaurant you don’t feel crowded. Nice place for couples and families to enjoy. Wait staff courteous, friendly and quick! Can’t wait to go back.

Back again this year! It's not summer unless I've had Ike's. The sauces are great, I like the horseradish one with the crab sandwich. Some of us had salads instead of the chips and were very happy as they were fresh & crispy. Love eating here!
Had the grilled grouper & crabcake sandwiches. They were great! Not much filler in crabcake. Butterfly chips are yummy . . . Our server was very friendly and attentive during dinner rush.

It's all fried, but definitely quality fried seafood (and chicken). The freshly fried chips are sliced with a drill and definitely unique and tasty. The fried clams were plump and the fish was flaky and tender. Known for their crab cakes, we didn't sample them, but saw many others enjoying them on platters and buns. Will definitely return when on the boardwalk in OC.

Nice little seafood place on the boardwalk. Ordered the calamari. Fresh and delicious! They bring over four of their homemade sauces with it. All really good. Also ordered the grouper sandwich. Grouper was excellent,and the spiral cut potatoes that they serve up as fries are really good. My only suggestion would be to change the bread they serve the grouper sandwich on. It comes with a soft Kaiser type round roll that is more of a hamburger bun. I would suggest more of a short hoagie roll.

Crabcakes were very good. You can tell they're authentic when you get a piece or shell in the crabcake. The homemade cocktail sauce was the best I've ever had. So yummy. Love the horseradish kick. Very good. Next time I want to try the clam strips and the home made chips look fantastic. Will definitely return 👍🏽👏🏽😋
