My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights right after Labor Day. The Forum has got that old school beach motel charm. And it is old. There’s no sugar coating that, but our stay was awesome! The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The motel has free parking on site, a nice size (and very clean) pool, a sun deck with loungers, and is one block to the beach. Our room had everything we needed, with a mini fridge, microwave, and small tv on the wall with basic cable. (It even has a safe.) We would have loved a coffeemaker, but there’s a cute cafe right across the street to get coffee

Where to begin…from a cleanliness standpoint: visible mold on the walls, multiple water stains across the ceiling, thick dirt/dust caked on the air vents, hair in the bathroom, complimentary water bottle opened and drank from, cobwebs throughout, grease stains covering stovetop. Outdated/Worn: couch worn out and very loud (probably decades old), bed set makes loud metallic noise with every movement. Overpriced: if this was 100-150$/night I wouldn’t complain. But for 280-300$/night (off season too) it’s unacceptable.
We ended up leaving a day earlier than we paid for just to not have to sleep

This was our first and last time here. My check-in was easy, the front desk guy was extremely nice. He helped my children get wifi on their xbox. Our family suite reeked of a mold/backed up sewage smell the entire time. The bed and pull out sofa are extremely uncomfortable and needs up dating. The beach tags, bike rentals and personal parking space, 502 was perfect. The beach is not far from the hotel, and the pool was great for my kids. I gave it a 2 because of how uncomfortable the beds are for myself and my family and the sewage smell in the family suite is was awful.

I’ve stayed at the Forum for 37 years, and it’s been a great place to stay. It recently went under new management/ownership and there have been some changes I wish haven’t been made, but it’s still a great place to stay!
Pros - old school beach hotel feel, great pool that’s heated with new expanded hours, great central walkable location next to the best breakfast in town, new affiliated bike rental connected to it, almost every room has a good view of some sort of action, beach tag rental comes with room, laundry on site, very clean.
Cons - can be pricey, they renovated some of the

This was our first and last experience at the forum. Spent $3k just on the room alone and never again. The stay was good until the last few days of our stay. We are a family of 5 with 3 little ones ages 5, 3, and 2. Unfortunately there is issues with kids having fun on vacation at 5pm on a Friday. We come here to ocean city because it's family friendly with no bars or anything and mostly geared towards kids. My kids are in the room and in bed by 9pm any given night so it's not like they are playing at night and they sleep until 8-9am. Kids are kids and will play and have fun no matter where they

Nice and clean. Pool was clean and clear. Staff was super nice. We had the private balcony room but not really private. Just a small railing between the next rooms balcony. No coffee pot in room but had fridge and microwave. Price is kind of high but so is everything in OCNJ. so it was pretty on par with neighboring hotel prices. Overall i would definitely recommend the Forum mainly for the good customer service by the employees. Thats hard to find sometimes in shore towns.

We loved the place over a 4 day weekend in early June. It deserves a lot better cred. Maybe the staff is way better than prior seasons! The front desk saved me big bucks by telling our 2nd car arriving early how to park for free on the street just two blocks away. Plus, even before the 4 PM check-in they offered my early arrivals our beach tags so they could get a free early taste the beach. The whole place is well maintained. Staff is friendly! Deversity is a strength!
