Service is one of the most important aspects of our business. Our staff are trained in the latest technical advances in bikes, components and accessories. If you have a question on anything having to do with the function or performance of your bike, we can answer it. If you need service, from scheduled maintenance to a complete overhaul, we can handle it.
For when your old (and sometimes new) bike needs extra love. Includes install labor for new parts, a deep cleaning, bearing re-packing (when needed), and tune up. A popular option for restoration projects. We offer higher quality alternatives to many of the expensive brands you'll see around town. We are unimpressed with hype and advertising gimmicks so rampant in the cycling community.

Services
Fitting a bike to a rider is an important process that directly affects the ride quality and comfort of a bike-but it's one we won't tackle online. The best way to be certain is to visit us. Our bike-people are skilled at cycle fitting and will help you find the appropriate bike in the best size to fit your personal individual needs.
The best way for you to appreciate what we at Highlander Bike have to offer is for you to visit a few of the other shops and see what they can do and then come and see us, you will be impressed. New customers often comment on how knowledgeable and helpful we are. Some of our best customers have been coming in for over 30 years.

I brought a new, partially assembled bike in looking for a quote to complete the build. Not only could the individual not provide an estimated price range for what should be a routine shop service, but seemed wholly uninterested in even discussing the issues and pretty clueless to what a build service even entails. Most shops have a process and can spit out a price within a couple minutes for this.
Continue to support your local small bike shops but maybe avoid Highlander for anything as complex as finishing a build - its a little too much for them to handle.

We came to this shop to have them fit my bike to me. They were $50 cheaper than another bike shop we had looked at for this service. The bike is so much more comfortable to ride now! The employees were incredibly helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the service we got here! Would highly recommend others to come here!

The staff is phenomenal they always bring good customer service to the table. Just bear in mind that some of the things that you could do yourself or a little bit spendy but that being said you definitely get your money's worth with these folks you unfortunate part that I have found is if something goes wrong after they fixed it and you don't have any proof or talk to the previous person that fixed it you're kind of SOL but that's to be expected.

I went in today to purchase a new Haro mountain bike, but unfortunately I was approached by an employee who clearly hated the fact that he had to help a paying customer, his whole demeanor screamed out horrible customer service and I totally understand that he may have had a long day however it is not a solid excuse to dismiss kindly helping me to purchase a bike. After I told him that I wanted to purchase a new bike he looked at me and said that the shop was "closed as of right now, and we are not seeing anyone again until tomorrow". I had called earlier to double check their hours and the shop

Really disappointed in the service, attitude, and lack of knowledge during our brief stop in. I originally wrote a 6 paragraph breakdown of what happened but decided lets keep this short.
We came in for a 3 minute mechanical fix for a broken valve core. What is a brief fix, we were told this would take 4 days to get fixed. In the process of buying the replacement part, I did the mechanical fix myself as it took a time warping 2 minutes to swap out the broken valve.
I assume it was the shop mechanic, but presumably the owner he was rude and disrespectful, and treated us as if we were unwelcomed

Do not recommend going to the Shop staff is very unprofessional if you decide to get a bike make sure it's the right bike for you do not put any money down is on The bike's staff will hard close you and let you know that you have to put money down to hold a bike and pressure you to get the bike and saying it's the last bike they took a vantage of my wife

I had a great experience buying a new bike here after my previous bike was stolen. Max was super helpful in helping me decide on a commuter bike and get me the right fitting size. They were super busy when I came in just before closing time to do a test ride, but they were willing to stay late just to help me out and I ended up buying the bike that day.
They didn't talk down about things which was very helpful and appreciated - I tried going to a few other shops first doing test rides, and I was frustrated with hearing very basic things about the bikes, whether it was from lack of knowledge

Decided to give a new bike shop a try. Needed a tune, new tires, brakes and computer. Stood in their shop for 20 min without a word from any of their four employees. Never greeted me once or asked what I needed. And I was the only customer there. Big ole 0 on customer service. I'm heading back to my regular shop. Don't waste your time even stopping here.

After my horrible experiences on 9/18/12 and 9/19/12 at highlander bike, I am afraid to go back and get the refund owed. The owner, Doug, was extremely rude on the phone and in person. The second visit, when I questioned the faulty repair/service, he became aggressive, in addition to his standard curt behavior. He lied about the service, he mocked me, he treated me like an inconvenience, he bullied me on all accounts (from pushing me to buy products I did not need to frightening me enough that I did not notice he shorted me on the refund). He took my money and time. Doug is a thief. I was sincerely
