Aside from a lock and key issue the very first night I was there and the one fairly rude maintenance worker who handled it, everything and everyone else has been amazing. The high ceilings, the gym, the hotel style dollies to help carry things upstairs, and the friendly neighbors are some of the great perks. The valet seems to think they are not responsible for the mail. They refuse to sign for packages and claim that people come in the parking garage and grab boxes all the time having no clue if they are actual residents. They mail sits on the side of the the wall of the parking garage and basically in their mind its a free for all. At least that's what Ivan says. Roberto in the valet will send your package away if its too big and you won't get your mail at all. He claims there is no room which is a joke. This is super fun when you are being charged $169 dollars for deliveries, and the office is telling

Sea Castle has been a dream come true. The location is impeccable and is perfect for morning runs on the boardwalk or a quick dip in the ocean. The staff and valet are super warm and welcoming - always willing to help and lend a hand. The wall-sized windows are to die for! and there's never a reason to run the AC. There's nothing like a fresh ocean breeze or the sound of the waves crashing from your own bed! Kristen, Hailee, and the entire leasing office make the sweetest team. This is exactly why I moved here from Las Vegas. The vibe here is my style. And I found the place I need to be living here at the Sea castle. The entire staff is awesome and do there best to attend to the residents requests. The views are amazing and tenants are awesome. Don’t let me get started on our valet attendants. Who doesn't want to live in a Castle...?!? Cannot beat the location and the local team here is GREAT - Tracy/David and the maintenance team, Hailee and the office, and Marco/the valet team are all SUPER FRIENDLY. Daily lobby cleaning is ongoing and even bringing back (virtual) tenant social events! Pet friendly and great neighbors, feels like a community!

I’m home!!! Wow!!! The location, the staff, the views, and the serenity. I pinch myself every morning when I wake up as the sun rises above the ocean are magical! I haven’t closed my windows since I moved in. The sunsets are the greatest! I have a view of the Santa Monica Pier and at night the light displays are my meditation. The sounds of the waves crashing into the shore 24 hours a day and all the fitness activities happening on the boardwalk and surrounding parks are both inspiring and convenient.

Sea Castle is simply the best place to live Santa Monica. If you want to live in Santa Monica you might as well take full advantage of the unique beach town life and actually live on the beach. I walk out the front doors and I am steps from the golden sand. Muscle beach exercise area with all its activity and energy is a short walk down the beach. I have lived here for 3 years and the Sea Castle staff are all great people and always available to help. They really make you feel welcome and create a fun and engaging community with all the residents.

I've lived at The Sea Castle for two plus years now and can genuinely say its a pretty awesome and unpretentious place to live. There is a mixed demographic of tenants which makes it fun and wild. Aside from the location, my second favorite part of The Sea Castle are the people that work for the company and run the day to day operations. Tracy and the maintance team are super responsive, eager to assist, helpful and very fun. As well as Kristen and Hailey who run the leasing office have been nothing but sweet, kind and accommodating and always do their best ensure a lovely and happy environment

I have lived in Sea Castle for over 3 years now. Kristen our building manager with David and Tracy have made it feel like an amazing home. Dwight at Valet as well and Edwin have been so helpful as well. They are prompt in responding to our needs and we have so much fun with our Sea Castle Gatherings. I have enjoyed life at the beach with all these great individuals that have become my friends over the years. I definetly believe this is the best place to live in Santa Monica at the beach. Very happy resident.

Honestly, this place is quite misleading. I've lived here for a few years and leaving was the best decision I ever made. This place seems alluring at first but it's anything but when you're actually living here. This is the new skid row. The reality is that you're living in a homeless Santa Monica housing apartment complex which many ex convicts and homeless people are living amongst you. Yes, that's correct- the city actually has laws that certain buildings need to have a certain amount of apartments for housing individuals. They're constantly hanging in the lobby

In summary: Kristen, Paula, Trace, Tracey, Dave, Ash and everyone who works the valet are absolute rockstars. They couldn't have treated me any nicer, and always went out of their way to make sure myself and my neighbors/friends were accommodated. The management team also worked hard to build a community in the building, which was evident with the parties, yoga-on-the-beach session etc. And as far as I was aware from everyone I spoke to, everyone was generally really happy to live

Ok. The apartment is still lovely. Repairs are made quickly and efficiently. But in our opinion the valet service has really gone down since the new company took over. We're trying to load our car for a road trip and there is not a cart to be found. We were informed my the 2 young men working the valet desk that they don't know where the last gage carts are, nor are they going to do anything to find them. Really a lack of service or caring from this new group of young valets.

I moved in Oct and I had a great experience so far. My apartment has an amazing front ocean view. Trace Qualls in the leasing office has been really helpful. Trace helped me with measuring the apartment before I moved in and helped since then. The maintenance lady Tracy is very fast and responsive. Valet Parking guy Victor and Jesus (maybe different in Spanish name but they are father and son) are very nice and helpful. Trace, Tracy, Victor and the father &son pairs are friendly and professional. Thanks! The only thing I think need improvement is the small gym--very tiny, poor air circulation

This is my home since 2 months now! And Trace has been a real help for us, especially because this was our first home in LA. We are from Europe and Trace talked to us about everything we need to know, water, electricity, helped us with moving, furniture etc.
And plus he is always polite and sweet. Even on Sundays!

Air conditioner has been dysfunctional for over 6 weeks, in spite of multiple attempts to try to fix by management with lapses in between from time of request to actual service. And still not working today.
My apartment is facing sun, so gets quite hot without a proper functioning AC.
Clearly building (or at least my floor or unit) has an issue that they can't fix or at least provide back up plan for. I know they recently had an issue with entire floor not having AC working, so clearly it's system wide issue.
Now I'm on own try to solve for.
