I was referred to the Leathersmith furniture repair service by the high-quality Fairhaven Furniture store in New Haven. Like that furniture store, the Leathersmith repairs and service were of the highest quality. I was looking to fix and reinforce my Ekornes chair & foot rest so that it would stand the test of time. The repair came out great and it looks like the chair is better than new now!

I recently purchased a vintage leather clutch and wanted to get it restored. I did some research (there are limited leather work companies in the tri-state area) and called Leathersmith. It was an easy and painless process. They met with me and reviewed the services and cost prior to leaving my item. It was handled with care and came back looking better than new. The team was responsive with questions and was able to work around my schedule for drop-off and pick-up. I can't thank them enough for an amazing experience.

I had my old leather chair reupholstered more than a month ago and realized today that I never took the time to write this review. I'm glad I waited, because had I written immediately after seeing the beautiful work Jorden did on my chair, I would not have been able to talk about how much better the chair feels to me every day I use it. The chair gets better every day - it's softer, more broken in, more comfortable and more beautiful as each day passes. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the leather is of a very high quality, and the cost was very affordable. We couldn't be happier with the service

Jordan did a superb job refinishing four leather dining chairs that were very worn and faded. Excellent work, done on time. I'm impressed with the craftmanship and thrilled to have the chairs get another life. Dawn was helpful in answering questions and making the process smooth. I drove 90 minutes to get to their shop and would do it again anytime. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful work by a fine craftsman. I had four leather dining chairs that were so faded and discolored I planned to discard them, but Jordan recolored them so they look far better than new! I'm thrilled that I found him and decided to take the chance, and I highly recommend him for all leather work. The cost was reasonable given the professional workmanship. Dawn was also lovely to deal with--responsive to all questions and very helpful throughout. They got the chairs done exactly in the time promised. It's so nice to find someone who cares about his work and does it well.

We were struggling mightily to find someone who could restore two original Wassily chairs, and then, after a couple of weeks of searching in Massachusetts, we stumbled upon Leathersmith CT. Not only was the job done beyond our expectations, but the communication was excellent. We are so delighted with the chairs - it was well worth the couple of hours we spent in the car. Many thanks to Jordan and Dawn for helping us bring this "new" furniture to our home, as if they were brand new!

Had a wonderful experience with Dawn and Jordan from Leathersmith! Jordan is clearly a master craftsman and both he and Dawn obviously know leather like no one I've ever had the delight to meet!! From start to finish the project of reupholstering my late mother's 2 special arm chairs was professional, fun, engaging and beautifully orchestrated.

Great company run by great people! I needed some repairs to my couch thanks to the product DEET from off bug spray...they were quick to answer and were able to come out to my house 2 days later...they showed up on time and did amazing work! You can't even tell there was any damage ever done to the couch! Couldn't be happier with the result! They were super friendly and even took the time to tell my husband and I some tips and yummy restaurants in the area as we are new to the area and don't know much! I highly recommend them and will definitely give them another ring with any future

What a Talented and Professional craftsman. Can't say enough good things about this service. My leather couch had seen a lot of damage over the years. The arms were beat up, torn in places and the seat cushions sunken a bit. But such a nice piece of furniture, and very good quality, I really wanted to keep it. Jordan has transformed my couch to look like new again The damaged arms completely gone, color matching is like magic. I cant believe it's the same couch. When I sit on the couch now, it feels like new again. I highly recommend this wonderful business, for it's amazing talent
