Services
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Dental infections are fast, aggressive and can involve vital areas of the jaws, face and neck. If not treated immediately, toothaches can develop into complicated dental infections. When the symptoms of a toothache arise it is best to contact our office for an "emergency appointment" that day. You will be scheduled to be seen that day.
Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. In order to save the tooth, the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed and the resulting space is filled with special, medicated, dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function.
A silver amalgam filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a silver filling. There are many types of filling materials available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. Although there are several types of crowns, porcelain (tooth colored crown) are the most popular.

I recently came here to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was able to secure an appointment within days just by calling them, despite being a NEW patient, from the mainland at that.
When I got there I was impressed by how nice and welcoming the office was, including the staff members (and their little dog Zeus! Bless him!)
The surgery itself went very well. I thought I only had to get one wisdom tooth out, but I was advised to get all four extracted after taking an x-ray. Sounds intimidating, right? It really wasn't! Dr. Peter was very professional and explained everything very clearly and logically

5 star experience. I called same day for wisdom tooth pain. I got in the very next hour. The Recpetionist was so pleasant over the phone. The doc and his assistant were very nice and funny, I could tell they were both experienced and loved their job! The procedure wasn't bad at all. They numbed me up good and it was quick. Also, the parking was great- covered and right in front on the building. I actually love this place! Thanks guys!

These guys are GREAT! I got into a bicycle accident and broke my front 2 teeth. Dr. Peter gave me great temps, while I waited on my porcelain permanents to come in. I quickly got the permanents in and it looks GREAT! You would neverrrrrrr know. The staff here is so friendly with great energy. The quality of dental care is excellent, their certifications and degrees are clearly framed all over the clean office. Lisa is also so sweet and kind and does a amazing job. I have had my fair share of dental nightmares (multiple cavities and 3 root canals by the age of 23) and this was partly due to my ignorance of proper dental hygiene but also having some bad dentists along the way. We had a family emergency today, when my younger brother was needing immidiate treatment and was in loads of pain. This place was great. I had a dead tooth with a infection all the way down to the jaw. The doctor was very kind, patient, and cooperative. He is always in a good mood and very friendly and extrovert. I used to go to Waialea dentals but when I discovered Gemini Dental Center I switched. Been going here for the last cleanings and I've been loving it. I used be scared of any dental procedures, especially cleaning, because my teeth are very sensitive. However, Dr Peter was very gentle which put me at ease. I also like how he put the vaseline on the lips to protect them from getting dry. Planing to go there to have my wisdom teeth removed because I heard dr Peter is an excellent expert in this area. I've been a patient Dr. Peter Kyriakakis for a long time. I have an irrational fear of shots. Dr. Kyriakakis has a way of making you seem at ease and makes it as gentle as I've ever experienced. He never does any procedures that are not necessary.

Dr Pete and Dr Nick are awesome! I used to go to a dentist that only wanted my money and would say I had multiple cavities every single time. I then found Dr Pete and Nick and they were great. I actually didn't have the cavities that the other dentist said I did. Their diplomas are displayed on the wall as soon as you walk to assure you they are legitimate dentists...not someone from another country! Every single time I visit this office it is an absolute pleasure being taken care of by doctor Peter. However, just like the other 1 or 2 star reviews are all directed toward the front desk receptionist. I don't know if they just always have bad days. But every single visit they never manage to disappoint with their constant frowns and annoyed persona. I asked a question over the phone once regarding the Invisalign treatment I got done there. And I don't know if they just hate Invisalign questions or questions in general. But she immediately barked an to what seemed to be half an answer

Loved this place til I went in for a simple (so I thought) grinding down of my front tooth which would even it out to the other front tooth that had a very tiny chip on the corner. Nicholas, who I had been to a couple times before wanted to make a mold as he seemed nervous to do the procedure free hand. I paid the extra money to have a mold made, bringing the total to $200.., after everything was done, my tooth looked great! I had a routine cleaning done at Gemini about a year ago and had an awesome experience. This This time around my insurance switched to United Concordia and when calling to make an appointment with the receptionist (her name was Maia I believe) there was massive confusion about how to find my insurance information. Finally after about two hours of calling back and forth between Concordia and Gemini, I got both sides on the phone together and turns out the Gemini receptionist was looking up the information wrong... not a big deal I understand United Concordia is difficult. Love this place! Dr. Peter has been my dentist for 9 years now. I know whenever I go they'll take care of me. When I have a question and Dr. Peter isn't there, the staff or Dr. Nicholas will answer my question. They always work with you and inform you of whatever you want to know.
My 9 year old niece came with me and enjoyed going there too. I always laugh whenever I'm there, they keep it real and pleasant!

I am bumping up my review to 5 stars. After hearing about my experience the office manager Christy, called me and got me scheduled for a cleaning that same day. They were very gracious and obviously care a great deal about their clients. My previously poor experience was isolated to United Concordia's strenuous insurance practices and the receptionist.

Gemini has been my dentist back to when they were named Da Vinci Dental and when they were at their previous location behind the Old Stadium Park. Although the drive from home is far, they have done excellent dental work for me and have given me a reason to smile again; literally!

I have been going to Gemini Dental Center for the last 4 years. Some of the procedures I have had done are Root Canal, Porcelain Crown, Tooth Extraction, and cleanings.
