Services
Serving the Texas Coastal Bend since 1974, On the Beach RV Park has been a travel destination for those wishing to visit Mustang Island for generations of families. No RV Park is as close as we are to the beach. Whether you wish to visit Port Aransas a mere mile and a half away, or head to Corpus Christi for a night on the town, On the Beach RV Park is your key to the Texas Coastal Bend.
The owner/management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses from any cause. No mats, enclosed shelters with a floor, rugs or other items are permitted to cover the grass at any time except for the tent area. Please rinse any sand off at the sand shower on the gulf side of the bathhouse before using the restrooms.
Only your RV and +1 vehicle can be parked per site. If your +1 vehicle does not fit your site, you can park it in the lot north of the F-Row. Additional vehicles beyond your +1 must be parked in the overflow parking area (this is the grassy field just before the park). Additional vehicles beyond your +1 overnighting with you require a parking permit to be issued from the office.
Our park activities in the winter season include mixers, dinners, movie nights, arts and crafts and more! Stop by the office for more details. Known to novices and master anglers alike as the "Fishing Capital of Texas", Port Aransas can offer challenges and rewards to those who cast rod and reels. Bay fishing, shallow fishing, deep sea fishing, pier fishing and more.

Ive delivered my rental RV here a couple of times. Super cute Rv park. Friendly and helpful staff.
The sites are small compared to some campgrounds and don’t give much wiggle room for extra things such as vehicles or boats (they have another parking area for that), but they come with a table and a bit of privacy - plus you are a hop skip and a jump away from waves on sand.
I really like the vibes here!

Our third trip and this time not so we’ll.
I didn’t bring our Direct TV satellite because this facility is supposed to provide cable .
After a day out and about, we turn on the TV and the cable don’t work. Not so a deal except this is two nights in a row.
I’m disappointed that the office person tells me “maybe tomorrow “.
I pay for a service and expect to get what I pay for, not maybe tomorrow.

We've now been back two more times and the experience was great. Everything as it should be and the best people to deal with. I have recommended this site

I was brought up that you ALWAYS leave a site cleaner than you found it... VERY difficult to do here! I finally found some small bits of gravel in the grass and put them back in the drive.
VERY well maintained and Great staff! Met a great couple from CA who loved it so much, they were on their 2nd stay here!
Weather was Great (mid November and I've swam in the ocean every day)
Limited view of the ocean, but good protection from high winds with the sand dunes, but 2min stroll, and you are truly On The Beach.

Nice little RV park, clean restrooms. you are issued a key to use them for five bucks, refundable, when returned at the end f your stay.
This park is very small, with many sites " very tight sites" , so if you have a large rig with a towable beware!!!!! it would be safer to disconnect in thier overflow area first! I had to move my truck so a visitor could make a turn, when they came in late, and in the dark, with a large rig, and a towable!
Three stars due to the tiny sites, other than that the park is great.

You can't beat the location! The proximity to the beach is amazing, the campground is clean and the staff was friendly! As others mentioned, the spots are a little tight, but well worth it for a short walk to the beach. Also, we loved the extra touch of landscaping with beautiful plants and flowers lining the campground. We will definitely stay again!

This is our second time here. The location of the park is awesome! But Unfortunately this time wasn’t as good as the first. Our spot barely fit our RV and truck, but we were able to get it in there. The next evening after we arrived, the evening before our departure, they said my truck was in the road and I had to move it a considerable distance to an overflow lot. I was not in the road. Everyone was friendly except the manager, Rob, when I was threatened to be evicted from the park due to my dissatisfaction. He was very rude during our discussion. After asking if I could just remove my cargo

We had such an amazing time at One the Beach RV park. The staff were all so warm and friendly. Everyone made you feel right at home. It was our first trip out in our new camper and we look forward to many more trip back. The picture do not do them justice, the location is literally on the beach with a simple walk out to the beach. We woke up each morning took our dogs for a walk and enjoyed the morning sunrise, It was splendid. We would highly recommend this RV location and will definitely be returning. On another side note there bathrooms were immaculate at all times. They were beautiful and spacious

Just a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay @ On the Beach RV Park. A laid back atmosphere with attention to detail. The shower rooms w/restroom are fairly new, extremely clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. Also there is an outdoor shower to rise off after your visit to the beach. The staff is friendly. Makes you feel at home and willing to help if a need arises. Definitely on our return to list.
