The resort is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Corpus Christi, and roughly three hours from San Antonio.

We are situated on a secluded seven acres, deep in the heart of the island, a walk or a golf cart ride away from all that Port Aransas has to offer. Named after the real pirate/smuggler James LaFitte, LaFitte's Hideout is on seven acres in Port Aransas and nestled on the secluded Mustang Island. It's located about 30 minutes from downtown Corpus Christi, and about three hours from San Antonio and is considered by many as the "Best RV Resort" on the island.

Ho-Hum RV Park in Carrabelle, Florida is a hidden gem on the Forgotten Coast. With 53 full hook-up sites, 18 of which are directly on the water, it is perfect for quite contemplation, enjoying nature, kayaking, boating, and the whole family can fish from our 250ft pier. Grand is an understatement when describing the 1300 miles of coastline the Grand Lake provides.

This was a great little park that is really clean. There were planned activities and the management was very helpful. We have absolutely no complaints and hope to return next year!

Perfect place to relax and just be yourself. Nice and quiet and clean ! Landscaping, pool,all iminitys are very well kept.We love it here and happy to call LaFitte's hideout our home. Tina the manager is a Jewel ,she is always so sweet and helpful. 🙂

What a great place people are so nice. Good water pressure good electric pool is small but clean and nice. The only thing is be careful of stickers if you have puppies they get in their feet and fur.

Just finished our second labor day weekend stay at LaFitts. This place is well kept/ maintained. The people here (alot of full timers) are very friendly. If it was up to my wife, we'd be full timers here too. We'll be back next year (if not sooner)

The facilities were so nice, well kept, and clean! We didn't interact with any of the staff, so I can't comment on that - but if the grounds are any reflection of the employees, I'd say they're awesome, too. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

LaFitte's is an absolutely great location. We were able to walk or bike to everywhere we wanted to go! The common areas were very well maintained and clean. Although we were only here for a short time the people we met were friendly. We will be back.

Excellent stay for us. First time coming to Port Aransas, we wanted a park that wasn't too large with too many spaces and too many people coming in and out all the time. LaFitte's was just right. Management is friendly and efficient. Any time we needed change for laundry, picking up our mail, general questions about the area they took care of it. Property is always clean and being attended to. Just four washers at the property, but it was never an issue waiting to get laundry done. (And if you need big stuff done Wacky Willy's is right around the corner.) Didn't have a chance to use the pool, but

Incredibly clean, well-maintained RV park a mile or two from I.B. Magee beach park and very centrally located to the rest of Port Aransas. Rec room and gathering room, small pool, and clean community restrooms and showers for men and women. Watch parking, owners are quite strict. Two vehicles per RV, though there is an overflow parking lot... somewhere... Space for the golf cart you might rent, too. Quiet hours from 10 pm until 7 am. No smoking in park facilities. RVs must be 10 years or newer. Any older RV must be approved by management. Says free wifi, but that's only for one device, low speed

Nice, helpful staff. Wide range (all ages) of people staying there. Dogs welcome. Quiet at night. WiFi available, but blocks streaming services. Only down side was the grass burrs around our slip.
