The best thing about this room was the oceanfront view. Everything else was horrible. From the time my husband and I walked in, there was a smell similar to mold. The refrigerator was rusted, the furniture is old and outdated. The entire unit needs renovations. The couch and chair had stains on it. The baseboards were dirty and dingy. The living room didn't have a coffee table. The bedding in the bedroom was outdated. The bathroom was tiny and outdated as well. The bathtub had stains were a bath mat was (I assume). The unit, probably the entire hotel, needs a complete overhaul with renovations

We have been coming 25 plus years, but this year was not good. The first room was dirty, filthy, holes in wall, mold and chemicals on shelf. So moved us to ocean front, well was downsized from a King Bed to a queen bed., sand in the sheets, we had to purchase sheets, well we made do with this. But we will not be back there again. Our friends Karen and Jody were sent to another hotel because of the filth in there room, toenails, really??? There were so many things wrong this year, and no complimentary soap or shampoo and there restaurant not open for lunch. Board of health needs to really investigate

Fantastic location. Safe area. Quiet at night. Complex was middle of the road for cleanliness at best. Had a cogar from previous guest on top of the refrigerator amd dirty utensils. Not very well equipped to cook in at all with 1 pan either. Inside had new flooring but bathrooms not the greatest, the kitchen cabinets were horrible, the fridge was leaning backwards into the wall and the freight train powering the HVAC will wake you up at night if youre a light sleeper. Walls thin.
Need much more lighting. Felt like I was staying in a old hotel room, not a condo. And dont get me started on their

Our room was very nice and accommodating. There were a lot of teens in the building during our stay. There was NO parental supervision at all. NONE. They ruined every opportunity to use the swimming pools with foul language, not allowing small children a safe place to play and overall obnoxious behavior. When I approached the girl at the desk with complaints, and kind you I was t alone in complaining - we were told there was nothing she could do. There were 18 teens in the outside pool at one time. Spitting, splashing, after being asked no too, and ignorant behavior ruined this vacation for us

I should have listened to the other reviews...first, do not book through their website, you'll get treated like crap. Second, be prepared to move around if you book for more than a day. Third and most important, if the room has extra locks use them. Can you imagine my surprise when one of the male staffers just walks into your unit without so much as a knock or an announcement?? What makes it even worse, the guy proceeds to go to the unit we had to move to and do the exact same thing, this time my minor child happened to be the one he walked in on. Thankfully, my husband was there but how

THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER STAYED!!! WILL NOT BOOK HERE AGAIN!, the staff here is unbelievably rude. Never a kind word or smiling face. We parked our car at the loading dock ( you get 15 minutes to unload and load your vehicle) we hurried to pack all of our bags to leave and the women told my boyfriend she was about to write him a ticket for taking too long. (MAYBE took 20 minutes if that, at 10 pm. When hardly any people are arriving.) The rooms need updated horribly. We had no light in the kitchen, no light except a dim hardly lit lamp in the bedroom. WiFi signal is horrible. When you call the

If I could give zero stars I definitely would! This hotel is disgusting, dirty, old and not what was represented on their site. We stayed in unit 904 and I was stunned at the condition to say the least. Had it not been for the holiday weekend we would have left immediately. There were no vacancies anywhere along the strip. Let me tell you that it was a travesty of a motel. I paid over $800 for 3 nights and this was what I got. Manager gave me $100 credited back to my card. The room smelled of mildew so bad that your clothes smelled like the odor. The toilet ran constantly very loudly. AC was extremely

Overall the facility was okay. I wish they would have made it more clear because my mother is a smoker and this place is 100% non-smoking facility and I wish they would market it that way! They do have a smoking section in the far end of the parking deck with no bench. The unit I stayed in, 102 had a very heavy septic smell in the morning s like raw eggs. The customer service was at best par, they were cordial but they were not overly friendly. You had the basics and that's about it. The only good thing is that it is in a good neighborhood and it was not that crowded on the beach

If I told the story of everything that happened to us after checking-in to this dump, I couldn't do it justice. So here's some highlights....
1. Upon checking-in, I was informed by the mask-less, front desk clerk that the fully renovated and updated room that we specifically booked on VRBO (and payed an additional $200 to secure) was "unfortunately under construction by the home owner". As a result, we were placed in a different room.
I have included pictures of just a few of the various goodies in the room we were given. This unit was dirty, run-down, and quite frankly

Unit #706 was booked through airbnb for $500 holiday weekend. The building is located directly across the street from the beach. It also has 2 pools and a hot tub. The condo has a perfect oveanview from the living room patio. It comes with Stainless steel appliances in fully stocked kitchen. Two TVs and roku. 2 ceiling fans, plenty of wall hooks I'm bathrooms and on patio for beach towels. No washer and dryer in the unit but coin machines are in the building. I checked in by using code given to me by the owner through airbnb. The condo was very clean and decorated. There is a restaurant

We were checked in by Billy at the front desk. One of the nicest most accommodating people we've ever dealt with at a check in. The building itself is really old. With that being said the condo that we got, a one bedroom side view was very nice! The decor was very pretty and the bed really comfortable. Billy made our stay really enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about the area also. If you want somewhere reasonable to stay with a nice staff and beautiful views of the beach this is the place to stay.

Forest Dunes is a small, beautiful oceanfront resort that offers stunning ocean views and great amenities like on site restaurant, lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools, workout room, laundry facilities and hot tub. Close to everything yet located on a quiet stretch of beach. Love this hidden gem on the beach.

Aside from the view of the ocean, there is nothing positive to say about this place. It is very outdated, the elevators broke a couple of times during our stay, the housekeeping is terrible, the beds are real uncomfortable, and the pots and pans in the room are not the best. The pool is nothing special either. Save yourself and go someplace else.

Wonderful Girls weekend getaway. Myself and two dear friends needed R& R. Busy doing for others and was Burned out. We had a two bedroom suite, room was clean and hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The location is Awesome, not alot of traffic or noise. We stayed in the room the entire time. This is my second time @ the hotel. Highly recommend Forest Dunes for a retreat

Forest Dunes needs some upgrades for sure.
Location is the only thing that kept us here.
Upon arrival the key card lock was broken and we were given a regular key, not a big deal but sort of weird because they laughed it off as this was normal.
When we finally got in the room, it reeked of mold. Windows couldn't be held open so I had to prop it up with my shoe. Couldn't sleep, coughed all night because of the mold.
Balcony was quarantined because of construction. It could only be opened about 6" and we left it like that the entire time to air out.
Not once were we informed before

Booked room for a week. When we got here we waited for about 2 hours to be able to check in. On the website it says check in is 3:00 when actually it was 4:00. Our room was not ready till almost 5. When we were able to get in room it was perfect view. Exactly what we were looking for. The maintenance of the room was pretty crappy but for the amount of time we spent in our room it really didn't matter. It had all the amenities of home. Now the bar down near lobby, Buckets, don't waste your money. Food was nasty. They have two pools, a hot tub and a not so lazy river.. I am still
