The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the interior paint and decor were a bit dated. That being said, the available parking is excellent and the location is hard to beat. If you were any closer to the beach you would be in the ocean. My family and I loved the spacious layout and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!

Well... per the last person's review of 203, roughly 3 weeks ago, I am giving it and the Resort the same rating. Outside of location and views from the balcony, nothing was good about the place.
Nothing has been fixed and actually more was broken. The dryer was improperly vented which could have caused a carbon monoxide issue. That didn't matter though, as the dryer did not work. The front door look like it had been jimmied multiple times and the place was not up to cleanliness standards. I did book through The Caravelle Resort so they can't say that the place isn't up for rent.

We (2 of my closest friends and myself) stayed here the last week in April, 2021. Upon arrival and check in, 1 of the 3 door keys didn't work. Returned to the office and the same key was reprogrammed. Back to the condo and no dice. BACK to the office where they were going to reprogram the same key again so I asked for a new key and was given one. This one worked

Wouldn't recommend. The room was clean and updated; kitchen stocked with dishes/pots.... the building is old and smelly and doesn't feel "luxurious". Broken door handles on entry way. The staff is rude. I was given the run around when I did call to speak to someone about the staff...I would never stay here again!!!!!! NEVER!!!...They didn't offer a discount, coupons or percentage off on my next stay only said they had no idea what I was talking about

A group of us were visiting Myrtle Beach and staying at Carolina Dunes to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Unit 501 was perfect, newly renovated so everything was new. Very comfortable beds, good linens, well equipped kitchen, roomy, comfortable living room. Looks just like the photos. The building itself has been updated and is extremely well kept and cared for. Pool area is a lovely setting on the beach side surrounded by pretty gardens. All new loungers and tables. The whole area is clean and pristine. Any staff we met were friendly and pleasant and constantly working to keep the place perfect

We spent a week here in one of the Penthouse condos. The decor was very dated, ala 1990s. It looked like the walls hadn't been painted since the 90s either. The towels and linens were incredibly cheap, very thin and scratchy. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet (two wine glasses with lipstick on them). There was what looked like mold around all of the air vents.
The pros: Beautiful view, great location, very quiet condo, great beach access.
The cons: Dated decor, dirty dishes, hard and scratchy linens, bathtub had no stopper, dryer did not work, walls were dirty, dishwasher did not

Rented a 2 bed/2 bath condo for Thanksgiving week. We needed BIG kitchen since we were going to be cooking a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. This place lived up to the good reviews I found online. The kitchen was huge for a condo (although not very well stocked with plates and pots...I'm glad I assumed t would not be well stocked and brought my own cookware). The coffee maker was toast when we arrived, but within a few minutes of calling down to the front desk, housekeeping had brought a new coffee maker.
