This family friendly "home away from home" is centrally located one block to beach where excitement awaits you as you frolic in the ocean, sunbathe on one of America's cleanest and most beautiful beaches or lounge on the spacious sundeck and swim in the sparkling heated pool. A short walk away you'll find movie theaters, miniature golf courses, amazing shops, tennis courts and playgrounds and some of the areas finest restaurants.
You can give a preference for one or two double size beds, a single room, one with a living room or an efficiency subject to availability upon reservation. We are a short one block walk to the beach and minutes walking distance from the areas finest restaurants as well as movie theaters, miniature golf courses, amazing shops, tennis and basketball courts, shuffleboard and playgrounds.
Deposit of 2 nights rent, by check, is required for any stay of 7 nights or less, unless otherwise noted. Check must be received within 7 days of making the reservation. CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit will be refunded if either 30 days notice is given; or if less than 30 days after we are able to re-rent the room for the entire period cancelled.

The Lark holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve spent many summer vacations here dating back to before my first birthday. I’m 25 and to this day I feel so at home every time I get a chance to stay here. Staff is spectacular, rooms are clean as a whistle, and you’ll feel as safe as can be. Stay here for a TRUE Stone Harbor experience!

They do not like black/ethnic looking people or anyone under the age of 35. If you are young and remotely want to have a good time, do not stay here. If you want to relax and have a good time and not be bothered for no reason other than your mere presence, do not stay here. If you want to meet up with anyone for lunch, do not invite them to meet you at the Lark beforehand. They do not welcome anyone other than the actual guests staying in the room. You are not allowed to have any guests on the premises at any time even if they are clearly not sleeping in the actual room and have reservations/keys

If I could give negative stars I would. There is a reason they haven't had a positive review since 2016. The management was completely disrespectful from the minute we walked in. They age discriminated us as they told us they do not cater to (in the manager's words) "children your age" and it is a family establishment with regulars. Meanwhile we are in our 30s and we haven't even been there 5 minutes at this point. Very warm welcome on the Lark's part. Not to mention, The motel is old and run down, very outdated rooms. The bathroom didn't even have an outlet and

This is the only hotel I stay at in Stone Harbor. Been staying here for the last 8 years. Walking minutes away from the beach and downtown. No crazy loud boardwalk. No crazy loud kids spending their senior summer here. An awesome place to stay if you want a quiet enjoyable vacation.

This motel is alright but don't expect anything amazing haha. The front desk guy was friendly and knowledgeable, which is a plus. The a/c unit sucks because it's only in the front room. It's in a great location, close to the beach and 96th street. Our trip was planned pretty late so it was good there were still vacancies in August.

Check-in wasn't bad. The room was very small to be that expensive. They were accommodating an entire wedding party and most of its guests, which I was a part of, for 4 days. A group of us were swimming quietly and had been reprimanded like children for doing so by the manager. The night after the wedding, we were sitting on the upper deck making barely a peep, listening to light jazz very lowly, and talking about how nice the wedding was...we were, again, told that it was nearing midnight and we had to start wrapping it up to go to bed. What kind of place takes the money of over 60 people
